Hang in there man! No locomotive again today. I did get a couple books I ordered way back when - a present from the past! Chewy has a cone collar on to stop her from chewing her rear end and legs, she was actually bleeding last night. Vet now says it's not allergies, but dry skin. No sign of parasites, so that is good anyway.

Wow ! You guys have been busy!!! Haven't been here in awhile, only because about everytime I sit at the computer for anytime, I fall asleep. Then have all those wierd indentations on my forehead.

Sure glad to see everyone is doing well, and Jeffreys photos are still running. Don't know HOW you do it. You should consider providing a daily email listing for background imaging. Sure looks great.

As most of you know still pushing the ink and paper, not much happening with the trains. Everytime I go out to do something I end up turning on the layout and then a couple of hours is gone, and its too late to start anything. (That's OK, too). As a matter of fact thinking about it,.... I just might need to go check them, haven't had time since last Thursday.

So keep up all the good work, and stay healthy. Will drop in more frequently.

Good evening, Ran some trains around to reposition them so I can take them off and put others on the layout for a change.

Spent the day at the museum and sat in on a meeting regarding future upgrades in the Library. Will make it easier for members to access the library resources remotely.

Got a telephone message when I got home that something is in that I ordered at LHS. Not sure what, we will see.

Rained this morning up till around noon, then wind started which they said had gusts to 50mph and it felt like it driving home. It is still blowing.

World series game in Phila. to be played tomorrow.

Stay warm and dry.

Good morning.

It's clear and 40 degrees, not as cool as the weather guessers were guessing it would get. The high will be around 70 and it will be partly cloudy.

Didn't get much done yesterday as the cable techs were running around the area trying to get the problem they said didn't exist fixed. I think they may have actually done it this time. From what I could pick up (I was a computer programmer, not a cable tech) a piece of equipment that was causing many problems finally up and died and it had to be replaced. That explains why there was no internet access from this area Monday. They got the replacement in then had to configure it which took most of the rest of the day and into the early hours of Tuesday. That explains why the system was so flaky yesterday morning. By yesterday afternoon everything was stabilized and operating normally. Now I'm waiting for the weather to change to see if it holds up or goes into it's usual pattern of crashing as soon as the wind changes direction. On the modeling side I got more work done on my coaling tower. It looks like a really old structure now that is well on the way to falling apart. After a little more work on the base structure itself I should have it looking like anybody would be afraid to go near it, as it might fall on them.

Good morning folks

It was 42 F and windy on the way to work. High today will be 49 F but the wind chills will be in the low 30’s and high 20’s. Yesterday was a weird and nasty weather day. We had cold temperatures with a biting rain. Some areas had snow. Roads were closed and there were accidents every where.

I thought I would get some modeling done but because of the weather I had to take the roof cover and screens off the outdoor gazebo so they would not be damaged by the winds. I had to take my daughter to flute lesson while my wife stayed home and helped my son out with his first real book report for school. I also had to deliver some popcorn to one the Cub Scout moms since they won’t be at the Den Meetings tonight.

I hope everybody has a good day.

Hi guys. Home again. Wired building and other projects. BTW: Lowes can NOT cut a Pella door key. I had to take their mistakes and file my own. CTT server is messing up and crawling. Will check this Caboose and the Pot later. Too tired.

Yeah, CTT is shorting out or something? Went to dentist today - no cavities (except the one between my ears). That's hilarious - satellite reciever, lol! Hey, they left my new locomotive on the porch - I guess on Tuesday? Found it this morning. No bell, no knock... :( It's fine though. I'm letting it warm up. Need to get some track from a bin in the basement for a Halloween layout before I can uncover my "good" layout and test my tmcc toy! Man - it's got great detail and it's heavy! Can't wait!

Good morning.

It's 42 and clear. Just a bit bracing. The high is expected to be in the mid 70's and if you like cloudy weather, sorry, it's gonna be very sunny.

Only two things on my schedule today. Get my flu shot and do some more work on my 4 track pedestrian bridge. I may get around to relighting a few structures as well.

Good morning folks

It was 36 F on the way to work this morning. High today will be 51 F.

Temperature here this morning is considerably warmer than Hell as it froze over last night when the Phillies won the World Series. As a life long fan I no longer get over hyped until the deed is done. Visions of Mitch Williams in ’93 or watching the horrendous plays in the LCS games in the late 70’s, and hearing about the collapse of ’64 have lead to too many disappointments. As a friend at work said about us long time fans we hope for the best but prepare for the ultimate let-down. Last night, however, was so sweet watching that last pitch.

Not much else happening. We had Cub Scout den meetings last night and I handed out a bunch of popcorn orders. Today is the last day for popcorn as I turn in the unsold popcorn and paperwork tomorrow.

I hope everybody has a good day.

Morning all. Sore from driving an 8' ground rod in hard red clay. Now to do some Town Hall time. Tom, you should NOT have any popcorn left over. Always eat a bag of popcorn before bed. :thumb: Have a good one.

Thanks, It will be 11 powered units if I can squeeze in that outer loop maybe 12 if outer loop is running DCS/TMCC:mrgreen:

I have just barley started on this layout and am already kicking around the Idea of a portable semi/modular S scale layout to try my hand at some scale modeling and scenerysign1 but that is a ways down the track:thumb:
