Good afternoon.

It is spitting rain here on the south end of the capital city of Ohio:D

Ran a train for a few moments while checking out handy work so far, just a couple more seems to cover and I can begin painting surface of layout.

Anyone watch Life on Mars, not bad of a cop show set in the 70's with a time travel twist to it, I can just barely remember some of the 70'ssign1

GOOD EVENING ALL, no big news today, ran some errands this morning and went out for a late lunch. Still full. no trains no CTT that some have talked about so that and a nap covers my day to this point. Oh I did swap some e-mails with a couple of train friends and that is always nice to do. GOOD WEEKEND TO ALL..S.J.

Boomers' Auction in Harriston tomorrow. I'm going to miss it (as I have for the last 30 years) because we're going in the same direction Sunday to my wife's sister's; anyway it's going to be raining.

Check your furnaces before heating season starts. We replaced ours, along with the air conditioner, last May and when we turned it on a few weeks ago the whole thing would shut down immediately (restart when we turned the heating off). Some of the rubber stripping around the motor was out of place. Nice to have warranties!

Mad - glad the ankle is going down. Steamhead, I listened to a show on radio a month or two ago about the formaldehyde problem. Apparently, a lot of stuff in our houses has this substance, but they manufacture to prevent it from being given off as a gas at regular temperature ranges. But, those katrina trailers were left with doors closed in high humidity and heat, which is a recipe to break down the materials and release the formaldehyde!!!! Gonna hit 60 on the weekend in St. Louis, but down to 46 for a high on Monday now! Wow, I guess those Summer days are gone now! Can't wait to get my new locomotive!

Went to a Fish fry / yard sale found a train and bought it for $2.00 it is a flying yankee wind up floor toy by Schiling.

At the fish fry I got a hold of the worst tasting cole slaw ever, some yahoo seasoned it with sagesign1 Fish was ok but have had better.

Howdy, no shooting around here unless you want to meet some of the local judges in person. An overcast day that looked like it would rain any minute but never did.52 deg. for some reason we are suppose to get 50 MPH winds tomorrow but I don't know why. CTT arrived today but just thumbed through it so far. Have a good day tomorrow....S.J.

Jeffrey, All you need now is a flickering flame lamp and a smoke unit and you're good to go. :thumb:

A good evening to everyone, the PS vs OS game started and I got distracted so I will close now.

Looks very interesting, Jeffrey - I like it a lot!

Got up to 60 in St. Louis, but temp is diving faster than the Dow Jones :O Got my CTT today and Lionel Nation #1 came yesterday. No shipping email from Trainz though? Hope it's on the way! Watching the new Hulk movie with the family - pretty good!

Evening all. Sir J, why I use an airrifle. Could get by with a .22 or .17 HMR rifle. Shooting up in the air is now dangerous around here with all the new subdivisions. I do shoot ground hogs with .17 HMR. No police will bother the Mayor. Especially killing animals destroying your food sources.

Saying good night to all.

Good morning, it's 53 in St. Louis and headed to 67? I think the high tomorrow is supposed to be in the 40's!!! Lots to do on the honey-do list, so I doubt I will play with my trains today. Guess Jeffrey's internet connection is on the fritz again?
