OK, rather than hijack my own thread on the super-cooled maglev trains, I thought I'd post this here.

Wait (or fast-forward) to the clip that starts at 2:40.

While there's tons of great video here from Emery Gulash (I have vol 1&2 goldtoth1 ), I thought that the little tidbit highlighted at the end here was pretty cool too.

Scientists have recently discovered that many things,l including water and people, have weak magnetic fields that can be manipulated.

Researchers in Holland have succeeded in levitating a frog inside a magnetic field. This was featured on Weird Connections this evening.

Yeah, well when the levitate a frog with a jet motor strapped to its' back, then I'll be impressed! ;) sign1

The problem isn't the motor or levitating the frog - it's teaching it to operate the controls. :cool:

It's strange to actually see a frog floating around.
