Freelancers: Show us your paint scheme

I am interested in seeing the creativity of our freelancers! Post up your paint scheme, wether it be a photo of some of your models, or a concept drawing. I'll start with these:

I like 'em Dave!

My Kings Port & Western scheme, as a first time freelance project, is pretty simple. I'm pondering safety stripes or other elaborations for the locomotives. Here is a shot of some of my freight cars along with locomotives. The italicized KP&W along with the NY outline is the newer logo.

Locos and cabooses only....

...and the switcher that started it all. I originally was going to have the KP&W be a small shortline that interchanged with the PC. Once I painted one loco I couldn't stop and ended up developing another Class 1. :) The edges of the Testors decal paper are pretty evident on this one.

Neat pictures guys!

Here's some scheme's developed for my dad's Railroad. Not sure how many of the variances will live to see real paint.

I prefer the paint on #1600 (RS3) and #2405 (C424). The railroad is to be 80% Alco, with a few GE's mixed in.

The ANNA R.R. is a mid sized coal haler Running from the Susquehanna river in NE. PA to New York harbor. Toptrain came up with the name when I was a kid. (It was his r.r. I kind of took it over, sorry pop)

I am sure everybody is well aware of my C&HV.If not.

Picture003-7.jpg

Few may recall my Huron River.

And of course the N Scale C&HV.

C&HV RIP

Sadly these N Scale C&HV shells will be replace with a new yet to be named N Scale short line..

Oh not to worry the HO C&HV will remain intact as it gets a lot of comments during our open houses.

My cabeese...being a bridge route, my road has no freight cars, but it does have MOW and locos...
bighook3.jpg

...ex Amtrak 23 wrecker with a quick patch paint job...
plowA.jpg

...when properly painted, my MOW is gray with red numbers...
sw1500caboose.jpg

...some cars really need to see the paint shop...
hustler4.jpg

...as does the one locomotive and its slug.

Bump to the top. I want to see more!!! :thumb: :thumb:

I also would be very interested in aquiring HO scale private road hoppers if anybody is willing to sell or trade me for a finished Potomac Line hopper. I got my decals in and now have the ability to finish some rolling stock for myself, as well as to trade if anyone is interested. For that matter any type of rolling stock is cool, not just hoppers. My road will haul a LOT of coal, that is why I am mainly interested in hoppers but anything is cool.

Possibly so! I need to do a better job with white letter decals and black hoppers (I'm not too happy with the way my Testors decals blend) but let me see what I can do!

No pressure Ralph. I like to collect private road cars. I have cars from the Virginian & Ohio, Alleghany Midland, and Cumberland Western. Used to have a Gorre & Daphetid. I am going to order a pack of Undec hoppers and letter some of them up for trades...
