Good morning folks

It was 78 F this morning on the way into the office. Our high is supposed to be 91 F.

No modeling last night. I had to attend a parent meeting for football for my son’s team. Practice starts tonight.

This weekend we have a 50th birthday party to attend on Saturday. I am not sure what Sunday’s plans are.

Modeling-wise I have to straighten up the layout from the last photo shoot. I also need to look over things and see where I want to add details. On the workbench I need to select the next round of projects. I need to make a LHS run since I need Kadee couplers.

I hope everybody has a good day.

Thanks for all the Birthday wishes, sure am glad didn't get the picture the from the other side, that outfit wasn't very comfortable! Really rode high!

Had a fantastic day! My 19 year old took me out to play some golf, just the two of us. We had a WONDERFUL time!! My wife insisted that I not go into the office, so she ran it alone. We then went for dinner and walked through a street fair in the evening. (Dressed appropriately). Then had a nice evening at home.

Did go by Arnie's (LHS), after the golf game, didn't have anything that couldn't live without. They did have a huge collection of train VHS tapes on sale for $2 each, picked up a few of those.

Below is the handmade gift card I received.

Thanks Again for all the wishes!!

Do they do mail order and do they have a website??? Can't beat $2.00 for a tape :thumb:

Look what I found lying around at the LHS this morning. When I saw what's on the lower right hand corner I couldn't pass it up.

Being I'm pretty much an Athearn magnet I had to have it.

I also picked up these two items.

Howdy....
I finally got back into the Z. Long day. Mowed grass after working on the riding mower. I think I will be buying a new one next year.
Hope everyone is fine.

Hello again, everyone.

Another hot day - the right sort of day to wash some rolling stock.
Well, the plastic bits, after dismantling.

CSXect: Dapol is an old-established firm in the UK. They are known for their large range of wagons in OO scale - mostly private-owner (PO).

They also bought out the molds from Airfix - who had bought them in turn from Rosebud-Kitmaster - for some excellent OO scale locos, wagons and lineside buildings, accesories, etc. I have a few of these kits, I may even build them one day.

I'm just finishing up servicing a tiny Hornby 0-4-0 diesel - it ran like a slug, now it runs like a, well, switcher/shunter, I suppose. Pretty fast with no load!

Catch you all later, bye for now.

I can remember AIRFIX had some neat stuff in HO as far as toy soldiers that I saw in an old AHM catalog.

Thanks for the info on DAPOL I will add it to my file as I am working on a business plan for a hobby shop should the opertunity pop up ie major windfallsign1

N-Gauger, had a time getting in here. Then I went through the main site and worked down. Saw the site had new "address". Deleted my old one in favorites and copied new one to favorites. Copied it and posted it on the Coffee Pot at CTT. Need to warn us of such changes. Was worried it had "crashed".

Time for bed. Still no time for trains. wall1 Did mow grass as the good rain made it grow more than I thought. Off to Miss Edna's [Todd's Train Depot] early in the morning.

Good night all.
