Will you also be doing the other "experimental" century aircraft such as the XF-103 Thunderwarrior, XF-107 Ultra sabre, XF-108 Rapier, and XF-109 VTOL?

I'm very proud of the F-3 right now. It took a little tweaking to get the paint right, especially the words on the rear fuselage, they span three different parts, but I'm pleased to present, the F-3 (or F3H) Demon!

I'll have the file posted for download soon.

Also, I'm still going to finish the decade series first, but I just wanted to let you all know that I may be doing a special project afterward for Stavatti. It depends on whether they cooperate or not.

Nice looking builds nothing! It does bring up something though: recently, I've made a small change in my building habits - using strips instead of tabs. Besides reducing seams on models, I've found that when it comes to round fuselage parts, not only does it make the model look better, but its actually faster than cutting out dozens of small triangular tabs along the end of a cylinder, which makes up for the slight loss of time when using a strip to link the part into a cylinder. I'll take pictures of the process next time, just in case.

Anyway, on to the F-100 Super Saber. I haven't started yet, (though I'm about to), but I'm already wondering about paint jobs. I'm pretty sure the F-100 also came in a "Wild Weasel" variant, like the F-105, so I'll include that, and a standard USAF scheme. Stormeagle suggested a Turkish F-100, so I'll look into that. I also thought one of the US demonstration teams - probably the Thunderbirds used F-100s. If so, I'll probably have to do a scheme like that.

I also finally found an image of the "Hawk One Canada" Voodoo Stormeagle was talking about here, so I'm considering adding a new repaint of the Voodoo like that. I'm still trying to find better images first though.

Just found another: http://www.airliners.net/open.file/344333/L/

Anyway, I also felt like mentioning the blog I've added to my website. Its not much, but its there. Hopefully I'll be using it more, and for more interesting posts.

yes i did i need a korean mig to go with the sabre.

and it doesnt look better than yours. but i appreciate the compliment.

It looks like you used some gradients on the scheme, which I didn't know existed when I made that model, so yeah, its better. I did a recolor of the grey one after seeing those images, I'll probably upload it later. Its a little nicer than the others, but still not terriffic.

And yes, I am working on the F-100. I found some line-drawings that were so detailed they included the rivets, so I'm making this one very high-res, so it can be scaled up a good amount without any loss of texture quality. I'll probably offer a high-res and low-res version on the website.

If you work with a layered photo editor, try merging all the layers when you finish. The files I create in Photoshop are always enormous until I flatten the image to only one layer.
