Good morning
A few train forums is enough for me and I rarely read anything but the three rail ones, and I do mean rarely. Birthday party for grandson will probably end up inside. heavy rain and storms forecast and its getting darker already. No trains yet today. Just passing by....S.J.

Good Morning (just barely).

Pruned the roses back as the first bloom is over. Also cleaned up a section of the garden which had early crops. Only thing left in that section is onions and parsley. Squash and tomatoes are doing well in the other two areas. Can't take the heat anymore, the work gets harder every year. Don't think there will be many veggies next year.

After this got to spend some time paying bills.

It is to go up to 90 today, already very humid.

I normally visit 4 forums, this one and CTT daily. OGR and Atlas as time permits. Just registered for Rails of the World in order to check it out.

Hey all:wave:
Today I went around and got matterials for my latest big project: a homemade static grass applicator. I'm getting close to finally senicing my layout, and Static grass is definently the way to go, but I'm not paying $120 for something that with a little Red Green tinkering could cost mabye one third of that and give marginaly better results. Anyways, I went and saw "Journey to the Center of the Earth/ Journey 3D" too, unquestionably better than the version without 3D effects, but not that much better. Wall-E is better than either version IMHO.

Old man headed to bed. Too tired to chat. Came in from Frankie's at 8:15. Worked solid all day. Got it all done though. Wife had steak dinner ready. Took shower and ate. Watched a movie. Now down some pills and hope I am not too stiff to move tomorrow AM. Good night all.

Morning. The old man finally got moving even though he is stiff. Did not make early Church but made Sunday School. Ended up having to lead class as teacher did not show [just a few of us "old" guys in the class]. Now to unload the truck of tools and lumber. Another hot one. Hope to "play trains" today. Later.

Afternoon Everyone. Well I have been up since 3:26 this morning and not be choice either. Had a really bad accident involving 2 vehicles with multiple entrapments. it turned out it was worse than we thought it was. Can't go into detail about it.

But other than that, I will be fixing some more of my HO Scale trains up as they need it. My Chessie GP38 needs its rear trucks replaced as the clip that holds them in broke off during the move. Been walking around town and seen some really nice gravel that would look great in my hopper cars. I will be going out later to get some of it to place in my hoppers. :D It is a really fine grade of gravel. :D Can't go wrong there I must say. When I get it I will post pictures of the hoppers loaded with it.

Well Everyone Have A Safe & Wonderful Sunday. :D

Afternoon all. A good kite flying day. Flew them with the youngest after church. Spent yesterday cleaning and re-doing the middle boy's room whilst he is aware at camp. Ended up swapping out his bunk beds with his brother's bed. Lotsa work. He'll certainly be surprised.

I only visit three forums - this, CTT, and OGR - regularly.

After church and then breakfast, took the grandkids (from Colorado) trapshooting. They did good considering it was a first for one of them and the other had only shot a few times.

After we got home, made steaks on the grill and then we had a brief, but wild storm that dropped 0.6" of rain in about 20 minutes. Also blew one of the plastic panels out of my green house. I put it back in and think it will hold for a while. Will add a bead of silicone caulk when it dries off.

Nothing to report trainwise.

Washed both vehicles this afternoon. Lake is over full and has been for months. Had not washed them for water conservation. Can only wash them on weekends [crazy rule]. Off to bed. Sleep tight.

Good morning folks

67 F and raining was the drive in this morning. High today will be 84 F and the rain is supposed to stop later this afternoon. Hopefully it will since we have tickets to the Wilmington Blue Rocks game tonight.

It was a busy weekend. We did the bi-weekly grocery shopping chore. The kids attended a inline skating birthday party. Yesterday we drove out to the outlets in Lancaster and hit the Coleman Store to pick up some items for the Cub Scout pack.

I had the best modeling weekend in quite a while. I weathered two Intermountain steel reefers, two Atlas wood reefers, two P1K composite gondolas, and two Walthers USRA gondolas.

I hope everybody has a good day.
