This fallen flag came thru Rochelle Illinois on 6-30-08. It was on an eastbound coal train on the UP line. There were about 40 of these scattered thruout this train. This was the best looking one that had just about all its letters and markings visible.:thumb:

Ahh what the heck, 6 more can't hurt. Although the SFCM container is not longer in active service, its neat to look at.

Deano, You will be even more upset because on that same day UP's 1988 Katy heritage SD-70ACE came out of Global 3 to go Eastbound to Proviso. He stopped the train at the signal tower just west of the diamonds and waited for a green signal.I did get some pics but theyare not that good. Then on the 4th I got to see the Katy and CNW 8701(C44-9W) go west bound into global 3 pulling 2 stack cars with a total of 4 stack containers on it.I did get pics of that.

fordv10, WOW!!:eeki: , WE WANT TO SEE THE PICS!:thumb:

This thread wouldn't be right for them, but you have SEVERAL OPTIONS:winki: :
1- make a thread for them right here in "The Real Thing USA" section of this forum.
2- make a thread for them in the "Photography" section of this forum.
3- make a thread for them in the "General Talk" section of this forum.
4- post them in the most "current" Weekly Photo Fun thread
OR...post them in MY thread, "On Track With Deano":winki::mrgreen: , ANY of those choices would be GREAT:thumb: .

This is a very sad picture to me. Proctor yard, DMIR's (NOT CN's nor will it EVER BE CN's) main yard. Since the CN takeover, A TON of track has been removed, the track is not kept up (weeds) and it is almost empty. Not to mention the lack of maroon horsepower.

Kevin, well...your right, those pics DONT belong in this thread, but you did a nice job on the caboose.
i could swear you was the one that posted pics of Milwaukee road passenger cars in another thread a ways back? perhaps i am wrong:eek:ops: . if you DID post those, they would be PERFECT for this thread:thumb: , if i am wrong, and it WASN'T you, well, then...just forget i mentioned it:119: .

I wanted to show off the BN cabose somewhere! I put windows in it, put people in it, weathered it, gave it an antena, and thats it so far, but in person, it looks amazing, it actually looks alot better than most of my other work!

Well I DO happen to have some MR passenger equipment. And I hope to someday get it all working. Mant of them have broken trucks. (what are the odds you could help me locate parts? Im more into freight equipment.) I also have a nice GN passenger car that would work great for the thread.

OPPS! I just realized, you dont mean models! I know exactly what you mean! They were at the station Ralph is going to get on for his big trip I believe. But Ive posted before and the site wont let me repost. What could I do?
