Here are some shots of my two new Atlas GP30's after programing the DCC Equipped loco's.
First impression is they are a little light , and run very slow (as delivered) and look great. I have yet to pull a train but I will be using them double headed all the time anyway and I like slow!
I like them!

Remember...it's for fun!
Worth the wait! I've always liked the distinctive look of the GP30. Time to assign them to a train Mike! :)

Very handsome pair of "Bulls" as they were once called when new.Why Bull? Its because of the "hump" from the cab to the DBs.

Hi Larry , yeah , I am kinda fond of them as when I started into trains it was the only engine I could ID and it has stuck!

Now I can not ID the new ones !!!????!!!

I've always...

...been partial to GP-30s. I got mine a few days ago too! YEAAAAY!

I hope I can take a few minutes and just post a pic. Of course mine are

R-E-A-D-I-N-G.

Reading's the railroad for me. I started reading (as in reading, not READING-:p) about the GP-30 after I read your post. As always Mike- great inspiration.

Those look great. I've always liked that distinctive GP30 look. (Just wish Atlas would make a high hood Southern GP30. Oh well.)
