I'm starting to build a new model , a submarine. It's the Krzychu's USS Skipjack , as you know the model is available on his site http://www.mikromodele.cba.pl/mikromodele.htm
The original scale is 1:400 , but I don't like small models so I have print it on a 250 g/m2 A3 paper sheet, so it is with 41% bigger.

Dragos,

I built this one down to 1/700 awhile back. Did you also download the improved nose section from his site? The original proved to be to blunt nosed. Will be interesting to see how this shapes up on the larger end of the scale!

I've used the version with 3 pieces ( the Elips_01_02_03 file) . I will post pictures after I will advance with the construction.

How well did the waterline line up? It also looks like you have used glossy paper or put a gloss varnish coating on it. Beautiful build!

col. kurtz, if You want to see the finale shape of the other Pdf, You can see it at this thread where I choose to use the parabolic one.

Dragos I'm proud to see that someone appreciates my work and my compliments for the fine build.

Best, Nando :thumb:

PS: Kurtz, I don't agree with your opinion in another thread and the truth about Apollo 11...
