Kim, I'm not good at this. I am sorry to hear this news and I find myself staring at this screen wishing I could erase this whole thing but I want to say I am sorry. S.J.

Good morning folks

It was a nice 61 F and sunny this morning. High is supposed to be 82 F.

Did the shopping yesterday. We set-up our new tent last evening. Figured we better do a test set-up before we go camping with my son’s Cub Scout pack on Friday. Tonight we practice taking it down and folding it so it fits in the carrying case.

No modeling. I did look at the layout and say “I have got to straighten this mess up.”

I hope everybody has a good day.

Kim --
My sincere Condolences to you and your family, words at times like this seem so insignificant but know that we share your grief and pray God's blessings for Shane.

Kim, I am sorry to read the news about Shane. You have my condolences.

Chief, make sure you take care of yourself. You are more prone to getting pneumonia, so get checked. (and you call Pam stubborn).

Don, great shots of that steamer. I remember many times seeing the American Freedom Train passing by my block when I was growing up. For some reason, they used that stretch of track for running to other excursions.

Well, given the news, I don't have anything of importance. Hope everyone is blessed today.

May your faith hold you steady and strong through your grieving.

Kim: Sorry to hear about Shane.

It took a while at the docs office this morning. He loves the progress that the right foot is making but the big toe on the left foot has him concerned. An x-ray reveals what looks like an abnormal bulge on the tip of the bone in that toe. He also had to remove the toenail because there was an infection starting beneath it. Don't worry, I didn't feel a thing. Next week I have an eye appointment in Alexandria on Monday and it's back to the foot doc on Tuesday. He has me in matching footwear now. A camboot on each foot. They're heavy and walking more than a couple hundred feet is exhausting. People who park in handi-cap spots without a plate or placard for it hear from the cops double quick when I spot them. There are people who need the spots more than they do.
