GOOD AFTERNOON ALL
Sunny and 70, My wife planted the flowers from the nursery today. We have been changing to plants that come up every year, but there are a lot of pretty annuals that just have to be enjoyed.
Chief, I agree lead is the best method for rabbits and oh how I wish I could. I've used a trap and taken them away, and two fudydudy female neighbors don't even like that. They said I should put a fence around the garden and I said I should just shoot them instead of the trap.
Pa. John, I lost my plants one year so I do try to move them around but not a lot of garden space. I have enough yard just not good garden soil. Lots of clay. Trip to the train store today, nothing new to excite me..S.J.

Howdy - son decided he would rather stay home and visit with Grandma than camp out - works for me, LOL! I'll be back later. TTFN

Cell phone numbers going public tomorrow

REMINDER....all cell phone numbers are being released to telemarketing
Companies tomorrow and you will start to receive sales calls.

...YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THESE CALLS

To prevent this, call the following number from your cell phone: 1-888-382-1222.

It is the National DO NOT CALL list. It will only take a minute of Your Time
It blocks your number for five (5) years. You must call from the cell Phone
Number you want to have blocked. You cannot call from a different phone Number.

HELP OTHERS BY PASSING THIS ON TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS. It takes about 20 seconds

It's a hoax, of course.

It's 'tomorrow' as in 'free beer tomorrow' - you can find this one all across the web with different senders and dates.

To avoid having your phone swamped with advertisements, just drop it in a bucket of water.sign1

JUST A REMINDER... 31 days from today, cell phone numbers are being released to telemarketing companies and you will start to receive sales calls. YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THESE CALLS..

Does this look familiar??? Well what do we see here...... (From above)

There are TONS of these type things (keeping it clean here) being passed ad-infinitum around the net... And they all instill guilt, fear or caution. to basically good, caring people.....

I always recommend checking with Urban Legends Reference Pages "just in case".

.....and no, your luck does NOT ever change for bad, or good if you don't forward e-mails to 30 of your closest friends in the next 34.786 seconds......

............. i delete them before I read "That last paragraph" heheheheh

Oh... and by the way.. you ARE right about calling the DoNotCall line for your cell phones!!! but the reason behind it is the same as your regular phone....

It's better to have it on record in case some telemarketer dials a wrong number :) :) It's just better to be safe!!!

Been out today looking at refrigerators. The one I have is going on fourteen years old now. It may run for another ten years or may quit in the next ten days, no way to tell. Anyway, I found several that meet my requirements, are new and are below $400. It's always good to know where to grab a new one.

EVENING ALL
I ignore those send to x amount of friends and its easy, heck I don't have that many friends. Nothing to it. well the day was pleasant made it to 70, but buy the time I returned from the train store I was to lazy to do anything. So much for today. Nothing new, he bought some MPC that was for sale cheap, with a U36 green southern but he had not priced it before we left..enjoy your weekend.,,,,S.J.

Tom, if you have the time while in Camden, you may want to check out the Battleship New Jersey. I believe it is open as a museum now. Lots of history to that ship.

As to the cell phone thing and all the sending of messages, I rarely forward things. Just don't seem to have the time for it these days. I will occasionally check out things on "Snopes" just to check, but still, don't forward.

Hope to get to trains tomorrow, but it seems more things get put on the agenda then I can get to. Anyway, hope everyone has a great weekend.

PS: Doug, I got Kirk's book at Books-A-Million, but he has a site "Kirkcameron.com" that has it too. The site will have the autographed copies. I think I have enough autographs for now.

I have an Aunt who used to send me one of those almost every week. I started sending back Snopes links. She still sends them out every month or so, but still thinks backward pin numbers, flashing headlights, forward a mail to fulfill a Make A Wish, et cetera are all valuable news items. I wish I'd been smart enough to archive them all just to see if a few years later the same one came through a second time ;)

Dennis, you just made me laugh my socks off.

To me, Camden is a little market in London, UK, by the side of a canal that's only about 20 feet wide at best! The "New Jersey" must be a whole lot smaller than she looks on TV!

Wow, new visitors to the caboose coffee pot area. Don't remember yuz giz [that is Yankee language] visiting before. Glad to have you. Think I will go fishing instead of going to Todd's Train Depot. Got to spray veggies, trees and grape vines. New groundhog moved in to take the place of the one that met disaster. :curse: This one is fast and runs to the borrow. I'll get him though.

Have a good one.
