...On a more frustrating note; I have spent the better part of two weeks working on the Valkyrie model and threw it in the can today. There was so much wrong with this model I don't even know where to begin.
I was working with 110lb paper and for me I was having a lot of problems with the folds. Even when I thought they were all lined up nice and neat they would end up being out of square or slightly twisted and would not match up with the other parts I built very well.
I originally started with super glue but regular glue seems to work better and allows for more movement. I tried the super glue at first because I could tack a part and it allowed me to work on another area with that bit held in place. The super glue did however set up like a rock and if you got too much on the piece made it inflexable and unworkable.
The landing bays were a complete joke and after I saw them connected to the pylons and how poorly they matched up, that's when I decided to toss the whole thing.
*Deep Breath* So I'll start anew. I'll give the 65lb paper a shot and try to take things more slowly. No super glue, really try to get a grasp on how things should line up better, make my folds more "square" and
