Good Evening All
It started snowing here about three hours ago, 3 to 5 expected by morning. I have no plans on shoveling it,suppose to be 40 by tomorrow afternoon. I stayed in today as my errands were taken care of,I try to wait for a necessay trip and then do all in one loop. My Ranger will use ethenol but only one place has it and I don't usually go that way but with gas going up it may become a regular stop. Last time I was there it was 30 cents less than reg.I've read it gives less MPG so I'm not sure if there is a savings. No trains ran here today but I did fuss with them a little.
Sleep tight,,,,S.J.

Hi guys! Well, training went great today, we are really getting a lot done and I think it is sinking in so far. Had a little accident last night and a folding chair fell off a peg on the wall in the garage and landed on my truck hood
icon_smile_sad.gif
There is a little paint damage, but I think I can touch it up. In other bad news, got a little crack in my windshield from a rock on the highway - have to get that fixed. And, since things go in 3's, one of the kids came home with what I think is head lice

Wife will take them to the doc tomorrow to verify and get some shampoo or something. Great. I can't help it, I'm just itching all over now! YUCK! Can dogs get this from humans? Wonder if we should take Chewy to the vet too?

I've not said anything to Jim before, but he just doesn't quit does he? Prayers for him and his family too - for wisdom.

Sir James - we're just getting rain, rain rain. No new flooding and rivers have gone down, so I guess the lowlanders are going to make it now. Some basements got wet though. One of my trainees was out of town and his sump pump didn't kick on, so he had water in his basement.

Tom - good luck with your foot. Mine turned out to be tendinitis and meds are working good right now. Only a few days to go.

Doug - I'm sure you will get a really nice present from France!

Brutus I feel for ya. Hope all goes better tomorrow. And I think I'd take the dog or at least call the vet.

Marcie Congrats on the new baby. We'll have to swap pics of the new babies our grand child is due mid June.:)

LAte it is [or is it early?]. Slept some. Did catch the news. UNC won. Marcie, maybe untimely but it will be a great addition. The Lord will make it alright with faith. Give plenty of support. Busy day. Garden is ready for a couple of rows and then beds. I plant mostly in big beds. BTW: I can see my garden and it is NOT under SNOOOOOW. Early breakfast in Raleigh [another Time Warner thing]. Then wife is taking off and we are going to do a few errands, movie and dinner. This will be our anniversary we BOTH forgot. See Marice, Grandchildren will make you forget everything. Carter was her and we both stayed buys with him and forgot it.
Off to bed. Sleep tight.

Good Morning! Was a nice time at the amusement park. Not very crowded and we got to spend lots of valuable time with the kids. Supposed to be in the 80s again today, but I have a couple of cases to do, so can't enjoy it.

Don, I always try to take the high road, but, like I mentioned in my post to "Jack", bad things happen when good people sit back and do nothing. I just couldn't let Jim continue on the path he was. It was not right to the people he aimed his agression towards and the rest of the forum who had to read it. I don't agree with Selector's participation for the most part, but I think it was time that thread was locked anyway.

Well, I have some work to get done. I hope everyone has a blessed day. Dennis

Good morning folks

It was 44 F as I headed out the door this morning. We are going up to 58 F with rain.

I got the X-Ray results and it is a bone spur in my heel. Next step is to get in and see a foot and ankle specialist. So I will be making that appointment this morning.

I entered some more equipment into computer inventory.

This weekend is kid/scout crazy. Tonight my daughter has a Girl Scout event at a ceramics painting shop. Tomorrow, both Cub scouts and Girls Scouts will be going to the Phillies game and afterwards they get a chance to run the bases at Citizen Bank Park. Sunday we will being going to the Philadelphia Mineral and Fossil Fair where the scouts get in free.

At some point I will try to enter more equipment into the computer inventory. I still have not figured out which weathering, building, or other type project I will begin next.

I hope everybody has a good day.

26 sunny degrees this AM w/no wind. Wouldn't you know, I drove to the one place in Iowa yesterday that received 6" of snow  but when I arrived at home it was only rain, such luck :thumb:. Off to an RV/camping show today, even though we don't camp I still enjoy looking at the RV's. Hoping also to get some photography and train time later this afternoon.

Hurry up SPRING! Football practice has also started in Iowa, not much hope for ISU or Hawkeye's. Over 10% of the Hawkeye team is either in jail, has charges pending or dismissed from the team

HI GIZ,
42 and damp here today.
JON, wow YUZ GIZ too have problems with you team. Here in PA, JOE PATATOE,has the same problems with his players acting up. Instead of Penn State, it could be State Penn.
Hoping to get my CC Lionel Niagara in the mail today. I won it on Monday and its being shipped from Indiana so it should be here tonite? If it is will run trains to break her in and if not I still will run trains tonite just for fun.
BUCKEYE, cost for the Carngie layout is like 12.50? I hope that was a misprint. Kinda steep for a train layout. Heck I was at Straussburg and thought $5.50 was to much. I'm cheap.
And finally a BIG TGIF!!!!
B GOOD or B GONE,

Morning all. Can't believe we got snow yesterday too. It snowed all day - didn't look like it was going to stick then all of a sudden, there were a few inches. Picked up the van last night. I've have blocked out of my mind how much it cost to fix. ;) Took the middle boy to work with me. Not quite sure what we'll do yet. Maybe go to the Apple store and have a nice lunch. Hang in there, Brutus.

We are having a beautiful day here, 65 when I woke up.

Off work early today so maybe I'll get some work done on my "temporary/permanent for a while" layout. Daughter moving back home this weekend - who knows for how long.

Just finished running errands. Taking a break. I have a few things to do around here and then I may get some train running time in.
Baseball season starts Monday. Thank goodness. The wife is all set to watch every Indians game.
Be back later,

OK, case is done and I have a few minutes before I have to go. Anyway, JON, saddened by the falling test scores of the ISU athletes, the school decides to have a remedial English class. The teacher starts off with the question "OK, who can conjugate a verb?", no ones hand goes up. Let's try another one. "Who can write a paragraph?", still no hands. "Who can write a sentence?", again, no answer. Finally, "What comes at the end of a sentence?", they all raise their hands, "THE APPEAL!".

I hope that everyone has a great weekend. LAZ, I hope to see some photos of that locomotive.
God Bless,
dennis

Dennis--probably more truth to that joke than we realize. To be sure, there are some great kids on that team but the knuckledraggers seem to get all the attention and it just never ends. Too many folks in the spotlight just don't think that the rules apply to them. Hollyweird is a pretty good example of that.

Got a great deal on fuel today--only $2.97  Sure looking forward to Memorial Day weekend to see what the rate will be :rippedoff:
