turntable question

What will not fit on a 90' turntable ? I am researching a build.

Hi...90' scales out to about 12-1/4". The largest loco I have (Mountain 4-8-2) will barely fit...The couplers overhang the bridge. If I ever get anything larger, it will require a five-digital turnntable....

What about diesel are there any larger then 90' ?

Ron dd35's are 88' and dd40s are 98' 5" so I would say most will fit.

That's a cool link Roger! Those DD 8 axle units are gigantic! Yep, sure looks like most other locomotives would fit on that 90 ft. table.

Boy...!! Hard to envision a single diesel larger than the Mountain AND tender together...WoW..!!
