Josh, your module is awesome. Your new approach to modeling to focus on detail really pays off. There is so much I like about this module, from the creek :thumb::thumb: to the rooftop details, not to forget your trucks...... Great job .

hey thanks Kurt   Im really likeing the detailing part, it really is amazing how much better something can look with just a little more detail added in

Josh, as always great work actually better than great but everyone has used all the good words. I worked for Cat a 100 years in Stockton, CA Holt Bros. the guys who invented Cat. You need to add a Cat forklift and a service truck(and if you find the service truck in 1/87 let me know) forklifts are easy to find. Great job and you can build a Truck Wash at your Truck Stop you need to build next.... So I can see what I need to do. Oh and all the trucks at Cat well it ant a Truck unless it's a Pete powered by "Cat" now this will get me in trouble. Keep it up, be looking for more to come, Jerry

Thanks Jerry

The CAT forklift is another thing i DO need to add in   Actually maybe a couple of them  And the CAT service trucks are a must. Those could be kitbashed from some Boley Trucks :thumb:

Hmmmmmmm a truck wash huh? That would be pretty cool

Finally did some more work on the module

Planted some trees ans layed some ground cover down. I also did the yard for the Great West Pre-Stress Building, which is still not done yet, the back half of the yard still needs to be layed out

heres some quick pics, the white stuff around the trees is the glue that I used to set the trees which will dry clear:

You work fast man.

It looks really good. I like the shallow creek bed, going under the bridge, really adds to it. Are you planning on using any of these modules in your future layout or are you building them just for kicks?

Thanks   The creek was really fun to do, ive never done anything like it and i have to say i like doing scenery

Both the modules ive built so far (this one and the photo diorama) i dont plan on putting in future layouts, although i certainly could

sign1 I would charge thru the roof hahahahaha

Thanks

I hung some shelf brackets, these were heavy duty 20" brackets. I set the module on the brackets and put a couple screws into the base thru the bracket holes on the tops of them. Man this module is HEAVY!!!!!! lol Heres some pics:

As you can see there is barely enough room for the buildings to the ceiling lol but i planned for that and i wanted it to be close like that. This gives me a full 18" between the bottom of the module brackets and the tops of the shelf layout brackets which should be PLENTY of room lol

Not done on this module by any means, still have alot of work to do, ill just have to pull it down off the wall for now on to work on it

Hey guys check a friend of mine photos of the 2007 MWTTS Dyersvill 1/64 scale Truck show. Look on Webshot and lookup grimreeper250 or just cleck on his name here and look up his pictures. I plan to do the truck stop as soon as I get as many trucks as TruckLover but let me know what you think. Oh, Josh there is a truck wash. By the way you and Kevin both do Great work.
