Lester: The Central Railroad of New Jersey and the Jersey Central Lines were the same railroads at different times. I think the renameing came from a reorginizeation of the company. It was changed by who controled the most stock.

This is a heating supply and fuel business as in fuel oil and coal. The coal is dumped onto the ground bellow the bridge (I am not sure of what the proper name is)where it is loaded into small dump trucks for local delivery to homes and buisinesses for heat. there is also a fuel tank there to hold fuel oil delivered by tank cars on same track which is gravity transfered to holding tank on the ground below.

This is the 2nd BLI engine,first on testing found it had no reverse though it ran beautifully in forward,nice slow to mid range speed.sound was to my ears spot on.
Unfortunely we've been so busy with working on the railroad have'nt had time to run her further.
Detail's are very well done for the most part.
Will try and give a fuller report after a proper running in.

Its the 2-10-2 Santa Fe....not the 2-10-4 Texan though i'm sure the only difference is the trailing truck sign1

Pennsylvania Railroad GPs
Here are some of My GP7 & 9's in the Stevensville Yard area. Their are Atlas, LLP2000,and Athearn by Bev-Bel. Even a couple trainmasters and GP30 visited that day.

Ralph, yes I do like the Pennsy. To me The Pennsy and GPs are railroading. Double and tripple heading is easy with GPs. I have other locos but my GP7s,9s,& 30s are my favorites.

Bowser Executive Line U-25-B PRR # 2506
Well my hobby shop owner made me a deal I couldn't refuse. Now I have this. The loco came finished and detailed. Extra detail is Brass MU hoses, brass air hoses,brass windshield wipers,steel grab irons,steel coupler lift bar,operating head lights,window glass,Buehler can motor,brass flywheels,nickel silver wheels with RP25 flanges,knuckle couplers,DCC ready,and Train Phone system,all installed and ready to run. Compaired to my old athearn powered Stewart U-25-B one is a plain jane, the other a doll.

I started in HO.... Then a few friends got involved... and we decided to model the DM & IR.. In HO.... No, it wouldn't fit in my house.....
We sold all the HO stuff to one guy, Bought a ton of N gauge stuff the same day... Our LHS Loved us
This was back in 1984.later (86 - 87) We all got girlfriends, lost interest in trains except for me
....I kept the N stuff, till after I got married, in 88. I sold off all the remaining N Gauge things to buy a house.. no - it didn't even make a dent. and on our first anniversary, the wife bought me a G gauge starter set... I was hooked!!
It's easier to model, easier to add on to, easier to run and (Most important, since I'm nearing 50) easier to see details!
So, rather than change the N Gauger moniker I've had for over 20 years, I decided to just confuse people. sign1sign1sign1

Ralph : If I had a hand in finishing that U-25-B, I would have put my mark on it by breaking something. On the box it says all the parts were cast here. The drive assembled here. But the body had all it detail done in China. Well this time I left it to the professionals.
