It was printed in 1947 is a little dirty and yellowed but still intact:thumb: Had some old lionel tinplate cars in sad shape did not get them.

Good evening,

Congratualtions on the 1000th post Ozzy.

Glad all that snow is falling in Idaho, although we are already short about 2" of precip here since we haven't had much snow at all. I do prefer mine in the form of rain however.

John B., Computers can be fun. wall1 Right? I've been playing around with one that I built in 06, that keeps shuting down because the sensor says the CPU is overheating. Tried everything I can think of to no avail. Going to check the motherboard mfg website to see if any help available to help diagnose the problem.

Didn't run any trains today. Did transplant 60 more geraniums in the greenhouse.

Looks like the Chief may have to stay in Idaho till the snow melts. :thumb:

Evening All, I went to a train show today and buoght an 027 hopper for my new DT&I GP38,I have three now. Tricky car to buy, only came in a 1970s set, local road name and prices range from $10 to $35. I buy the $10 ones. don't have to have them so I just watch and make offers. Also bought a set size caboose for parts I needed, a seller I know ask about it so I took off what I needed and sold the rest to him for what I paid making my parts free. Oh yes he did know what I paid for it. Sir James

Let it snow in Idaho !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It would be grand if the Chief was stranded in the North with about two feet of snow. I can't wait until the Buffalo store opens and he finds out what deep snow looks like.

Put my new bridge together. Needs to get warmer so I can paint it Lionel Orange. Now to start work on the abutments, bearings, and center pier.

Chuck...I emailed Marty to get a price on the BEEPs. I will let you know if I find out something. I sure wish Williams would paint one with OCRR. In fact, I wish someone would sell customized painted shells to fit Williams.

Everyone stay warm and healthy. See ya down the tracks.

Evening all. Still snowing. Nice room in very nice hotel. Got free drink [scotch and water on the rocks] with my meal [as Gold Card member]. :thumb: Got nothing but a bunch of yelling kids at the other hotel. :cry:wall1:curse: Now to watch TV and eat microwave popcorn [yes one in my room]. That is if I have room after soup, 10 oz NY Strip, potato and veggies. :thumb: Great to have good internet service too. Not one problem. Signed right on. Fast speed too.

NowI have to share this with all of you.
Wish I could have stopped in the middle of I 90 in Spokane. A long double stack/piggyback train was snaking along the mountain above and then across a high concrete bridge [up with other high concrete highway bridges] and the bridge was making a long ninety degree turn to the right. What a sight. Especially with the snow covering the landscape and it was snowing hard at the same time. That would have been a reward winning photo. What a wonderful memory to hold concerning this trip.

Guess you heard on the news, South Trash [Trailways of the airways] skidded off the runway at Spokane. Shut down the airport for a few hours. Caused a lot of heartache for some passengers as flights got canceled. Some ill folks here. When I took the shuttle back from the airport after turning in the rental car, the plane had been moved and they were blowing snow off of the runways.

Well, I'm mostly packed and just need to put this computer away soon. I have enough clothes that I should be good for the whole trip except for some pants might need to be cleaned while I'm there - no big deal. Wife is going nuts with plans for the trip, LOL. Should be back online either tomorrow night or Tuesday night some time. Sounds like some fun and good deals going on, so carry on folks!

Sorry we did not get together. You and Tim [Pigseye] Mitchel planned this.
No, actually have had a great time. I love the scenery and I love the snow. I could live here. The 4 Runner would be right at home. Now the Chevy pickup might not do as good even though it has limited slip. Wish I had time to stop and shoot pictures before it began to snow so hard. Pretty mountains and streams.

Good morning folks

It was 24 F as I rolled off to work. High today is supposed to be around 44 F.

We had a busy weekend with the usual bi-weekly grocery shopping extravaganza. We also took some of our Cub Scouts into Philadelphia to see the Chinese New Year Celebration at the University Of Penn Museum Of Anthropology. The highlight of the day was the Lion Dance. Sunday we worked on my son’s pinewood derby car. My daughter also had her first basketball game.

No modeling this weekend.

I hope everybody has a good day.
