Kevin, have you considered making them yourself with your photoshop type program, or a Windows .Bmp and print them off. i have a few engines that need this done also, and that is what i am going to do.:winki:

are you talking about the numberboard only or the whole numberboard/headlight assembly?

Sorry Deano, I mean the whole assembly, light and all, my loco has no light, but the piece comming off of the frame to accept the bulb and assembly, that will be alatter project. What I am looking for is the same stylr found on a GP9m. But I dont know who makes one and if the curvature would match that of my loco roof.

Wathers, and Model Power all make GP9Ms. You can probably find a junked GP9M that you can steal the cab from.

Well, looking at my Walthers Trainline GP9M, the numberboard looks like it was molded along with the cab itself, although it is missing numberboards.

well, he can take the whole cab, or he can cut the numberboard from the GP9M cab. thats why i said to find a junker.

Are you sure no detail parts companies make this? what about Cannon & Co?

I searched through the entire parts section of my walthers catolg, and nothing, do you know if a walthers GP9M cab will fit on an athearn blue box SD9, obviously some work needed, but isnt the cab or nose on the athearn bb kits not to scale?

It might, but the lowest cost brand Walthers runs is their Trainline stock, and those go for at least $100 dollars (my Trainline was a gift from a friend), so I wouldn't shell out that much for one single part. I agree with GEC, there should be some seperate detail part sold individually for this kind of thing.

the Walthers GP9M is only $40, not 100. and thats at MSRP. you'll probably find them cheaper.

I am looking for one with a curved top, like on your PRR loco, but if nothing turns up, the link you gave me is close enough where I could make the curved top. That is almost perfect for what I want, like I say if nothing else works, that is what Ill go for, thanks CNWman!

Hey, no prob man:thumb: You may want to search other sites, though. Walthers is one of the biggest sources of MRR stuff, but some of their stuff can be found elsewhere for cheaper.

D'oh!wall1 You're right, I must have had the price mixed up with another high-quality brand like gold line or something.:mrgreen:
