here is a 1:48 (o-scale) two car garage, its suppose to be a modal of a 24' X 30' but i had to cheat a little to make it fit on the layout where i want. it really comes out smaller then 24 x 30. in 1:48 scale. its not done, im going to put clear plastic in the windows when i get some, need to paint it, and need to put the garage doors in. and im still trying to find the best way to make shingles. tell me what you think, give me idea's how to make the next one better,

Now I'm AMP'd
Ah...Come on...Thats not your first scratchbuild!
Looks good.
Campbell Models does make some nice "sticky" shingles that you can use. I think that the even have(someone correct me if I'm wrong) peel and stick clapboard siding. Or you might try some milled basswood in the shape of clapboard for your next one.

Remember...it's for fun!
Looks good! A very nice entry into scratchbuilding. Warning! It's addictive! :)

It's not rocket surgery
In Oscale you might try narrow drinking straws for eavestrough and downspouts?

Nice job. I always like those stand alone garages. Are you going to put old style "double" doors on for each bay, or more modern overheads?
