Sir James: Did you look at 'subscriptions' under User CP? Make sure you save the changes.

Legacy went bottoms up. Now I know how to rest the base and remote with those blue chips. Book does not tell how. Thanks to Mark who works for the company who built Legacy for Lionel. Will only charge $100 for the information.:rolleyes:

Big Boy and NS SD40-2 running with chips downloaded into systems. Made big change in SD40 sounds and performance. Still arcing on 072 switches in a curve. Not good. When I get time, need to load all my engines in system.

Chief...This is a PW, Lionel ZW.
As Frank53 would say....You push the levers forward and the train goes fast. You pull the levers back and the train slows down.....

Hi Guys....
First off....If you have to pull the levers forward and push the levers back...That means you installed the PW ZW backwards.
Secondly....I have secured a special permit to use Gargraves on my outer loop. Due to irregular reasons.

I don't know guys; won't pushing those ZW levers back and forth give you the three "clanks"? I've been watching my favorite christmas movie Christmas Vacation, from a Windsor canada station. Third time this month. Him and Al Bundy would make good neighbors. No trains ran today watch the lions win, usually get to take a nap when they play. Everyone play nice.,,,,Sir James

Well, the snow is coming down. Got a lot colder. Maybe we'll have a white Christmas.
Good Night all.

Just stopping in for a quick post. I stopped by the other place earlier and I see that someone wants to rehash old arguments...serves no good purpose. Anyway, we had 12 guests stay the night last night and they have all gone. The house is back to normal. Was going to take kids to see Santa tonight, but a bit under the weather. Rest and try to be healthy for the big day.
May God Bless,
dennis

Us ex-Alter Boys know such a permit is referred to as "Special Dispensation"

as to your "irregularity" Chuck, that's a bit more information than any of us need . . .

Good night all. Dennis, I was told that guy was banned. He still pops up. Think no one has control over that forum anymore. Why I don't post there except for limited amounts. Sorry, was not going to bring that place's problems over here.

LAZ, where is my $100? Checks in the mail, huh.

The blue modules that came with your set can be used to make sure there are no software problems causing this. The following process is to preform a system update. Using the 1.0 modules it will ensure the software is loaded correctly.

For the cab, insert the Cab1.0 module into the remote when it is off. Hold SET and power up the remote. The red light will start flashing quickly. This process takes about 45 seconds.

For the base, insert the Base1.0 module into the base when its off. Hold the channel select button and plug in the base. The yellow light will start flashing quickly. This process also takes about 45 seconds.

You don't have to hold the button once the update starts. Also note this clears the memory on both remote and base - All your engines will be gone and the set will default to channel one.

Thanks to Mark R. with Creative Trains Company LLC
