athearn bb / mrc decoder

I just installed an mrc decoder in an athearn bb for a friend it now goes from 0 to 50 mph when starting. the sound speeds up ok but the loco doesn't move until going fast. I changed the start voltage to no availe I put 5 in on momentum and it helped but would rather not use momentum. what do I need to do?

Les,i was having a few problems with trying to ste CV's on sound decoders until i purchased A PTB100 from soundtraxx,Bob has them and not too expensive.

You might try starting with 0,then go up.Just a suggestion

It is wired up between your Program track and your power,it works great
