Minimum Radius?

After studying the 1800's Romania, I have come to believe my layout will be primarily small radius curves with little switching to 2-3 industries and by a village.

My question , well......two questions actually, are:

1. What is the minimum radius I should run the Athearn Old Time 2-8-0
with the Old Time Overton Passenger set?

2. Are these a good choice?

The wheels come plastic and I would be changing over to metal.

Did you call the dealer's 1800 number for the minimum radius info?

I just called them and was told 11.25" - 12.5"

Does anyone have any input on the loco & cars? It has been 15-16 years since I bought anything, I don't know what is good or not.

As somebody else suggested, my first guess would be modifying some old-time German equipment.
