BTW: LAZ, went late to feed deer. 5 waiting at the feeding spot. They walked over to the edge of the woods about 20 feet away. Stood there and watched. Will not come out until I get back in the truck and ease off. They don't run anymore due to the whistle I have for them. They know it is me and corn. One day they will walk back out while I am putting out corn.
CHIEF, I see anywhere from 3-7 deer every evening. A guy right down the road from me has a feeder filled with corn and when i take the dog for a walk they are about 25 yards away on the edge of the woods. Monday saw a nice little 6 pointer there. I think they do that just to get my goat?

Floyd - Sorry for the confusion. On another forum the "pot" is a misnomer for the "Coffee Pot" a similiar thread to this one, where guys just come in and chat about the most recent things that is going on with them. Usually, somewhat train related, lots of weather reporting, and some "kind" jabs going back and forth. Not to mention North vs South slings, and 1001 ways to use and abuse grits.

Tom, agree. Really is good here. Best be asured, the EYES OF TEXAS are upon a person on CTT. That is over there. Lets not spoil it here. Doug, great pictures. Hey is there an O gauge section of questions and answers here? If not, maybe NGauger will set us up one. Then we will not have to visit bad places. Only thing is I hate deserting Keller. He is a great guy.

We have the http://forum.zealot.com/f243/ G/O/S forum, you can use and abuse it all you want :) :) i actually thought you guys "were' the O Gauge Q & A team :D :D

Whenever anyone asks a question here - they always get a great answer!!! :D :D :D

Thanks NGauger. We love it here. Now Don, tell the truth. There is not any South [come first in everything including this converstaion] VS Nawth going on. You could never abuse GRITS. There is GRITS and butter, GRITS and cheese, GRITS and shirmp and so like Bubba Told Forest Gump. Just as many GRITS and things as he told Forest. :thumb: Don, your Legacy will arrive Christmas Eve. [actually it is the shipping box with some MTH inside ] No layout or trainroom stuff done today. did my Christmas shopping and got done. Later

Good afternoon, all. Raining (Hooray!) in Prattville right now. Some nasty weather moving in from the west but looks to be going south of us. Hope no tornadoes form!

Chief, good to talk to you this morning. Sounds like hiz'onor is staying busy! Managed to squeeze in a little Christmas shopping myself today. Just about done! Dropped hints to my wife about a GPS for Christmas. Her response - "What's that?" wall1 I think she was pulling my leg!

Hi all, Not sure whats happening at the moment on certain other forums. But there appears to be a lack of nice Christmas atmosphere. This cannot be allowed to continue or this limey guy is going to get upset!.

Therefore I post the following link from one of the guys on the OGR which should get the Christmas vibe going.

Crank it up. Hmmm..wonder if you can see this from spacesign1

Hi All!

Nick: I'm saddened by all that nonsense. It's everywhere.

Been away of late...so what did I miss? Hope everyone is in good health. mostly colds here...not our family, but most of our friends.

Planning on preparing 2-additional meals for Church families this year.

Saw an awesome light up animated train on the side of a car dealership today...I'll need to stop in.

Nick, it is not over here. Not allowed. Peace and quite. Two obvious persons full of hatred. Sure is nice here. Not going to talk about it anymore over here. not this forum's problem. So, let don't mention it here.

I sure am wanting to go up and run some trains with Legacy. Lots of fun [Don B., rub it in rub it in ]. Calling for a chance of showers tonight and cloudy and drizzle tomorrow AM. Not enough to help with the drought. My dinner is ready [I fixed]. Roast with turnips, potatoes, carrots and onions. YES, turnips. Peel them and put them in just like potatoes. Goood . Later

Tom...Why would NS want a photo of a swamp (NC) on their calander?

If you received a new CTT, would you take a look at Page 9, specifically the ad from Steeltoys.com. I have never heard of this company before. Has anyone delt with them?

Chuck...We are going after the bridge project that were in the photos.

Buckeye....I saw that ad on page 9. Never heard of them either. But it looks interesting. Nothing much else good in that issue.
Good luck on that bridge project. Send pictures.

Chuck, I respectively disagreee about there being nothing much else good in the February issue of CTT. If you check out page 12, our own Don Baker has a great letter published. :thumb: Also, check out page 59 about building a bridge correctly, unlike the bridge shown on page 41, where the ends of the plate girders do not have a pier beneath them for support. Gotcha...you hadn't noticed had you.

By golly, Buckeye, you is right.....I only read to page 9, at the time. Threw the cover away. I shall pursue the pages you mentioned. More to follow.

3-yo daughter, over dinner, said 'we can't have a fire because Santa will get burned'. We had a fire going tonight. I assured her that we wuld not have one Christmas Eve. She also said she will help make a plate of cookies and milk for the big man! Presents being kept out of site until Christmas Day...How much fun is this???

Kurt, have to agree. We have a 5yo and a 3yo. I made the discovery tonight that the doll house for the 3yo is not the type where you just join the 4 walls and a roof.....NO! it is about 2000 individual pieces that I have to glue and paint/sand/repaint, etc. She is getting the box with the picture, I will build it after Christmas. But oh what a time it is.
God Bless,
Dennis
