Jeffrey, That sounds good, except for the wet part. 80s would be nice though. Cloudy and wet here, but in the 40s. Haven't seen the sun for 4 or 5 days at least. A little depressing.

Well back to work on the Dollhouse, have about 1500 shingles to install and floor covering in 4 rooms to do yet. The shingles are slow go as there are two dormers and a porch roof that blends into the main roof, lots of angular cutting. wall1

Trains, what's that?

John--
I just sent you a message about Dollhouses, it's something that the boss is interested in for our granddaughter. I need something to do for these next two long months and the layout has long since been done.

Nope, it's done. Period. Not room for one more accessory, all scenes complete w/detail, track completely secured, all ideas exploited. It's done.

Take a look, shot this video one year ago. I'd love to tear it down and do one more, maybe in another year.

says the video is not available - is that the "A Train" video?

That was a fine piece of work . . .

Yes, it is the A Train video....kinda proud of it since my son helped me with it (he actually did most of it, I ran the trains). I'll give him a shout to see if he can help me out. Sorry, dang it.

' Evening all.

Very cold out tonight. The bride's gone over to pray at the church. I'm 'watching' some rug-rats whilst they watch TV - it's very convenient. Hope to run some trains later without pile - ups.

Chief, do you mulch your leaves with the JD or just use them in the garden? I ended up raking and bagging most of them before all the snow.

Jon, that's a great layout video. I've seen it before somewhere.

Just got home a little while ago from my son's first band concert. They
were terrible as expected, but it was fun to watch him in the center at the very back pounding away on his percussion thing (it's not a xylophone(sp?) but it kinda looks like one) and then when the audience applauded at the end of "Hot Cross Buns" and "Mary Had A Little Lamb", he stuck his hands up with the index and little fingers out holding his drumsticks and nodding like Ozzy Ozborne or something (not that he has seen Ozzy - as far as I know) - it was hilarious and he got BIG laughs!

DVR'd Working on the Railroad - pretty intersting, he's building a custom freight car.

John - I'd love to see your teeny tiny nail gun you used to set all those shingles!? Did you put down felt first? ;-)

Chief, do you cook your turnips? I like them raw, also boiled turnip greens with bacon are good!

I don't know if anyone has posted it on this thread, but Gil fin (Steve Frame) passed away on Monday. He posted on this forum at one time.

The Charleston Gazette - Obituaries

Gracious. It seemed he was posting like he was better even though he said sometime ago "good bye". He's a lot better off. Poor guy has been sick for years. He seemed to keep on going even though he was sick. He loved to fish the NC Outer Banks. Prayers for his family.

Don, maybe I will go by Wolfe Camera tomorrow and buy a new digital [since I got my check from US Airways]. Then I can post some pictures. All I have right now are old ones.

Some sprinkles and then rain Saturday evening. Bring on the rain!!! With all the leaves that I am going to do for a while, done. Maybe some trainroom time. Will probably go to Raleigh tomorrow and get Grandson Carter his Lifetime Sportsman's License. Lifetime hunting and fishing for NC. If he grows up and leaves, can come back an hunt and fish in NC without another license. If he lives in NC, will not have to buy a another license in his Lifetime. I was the 82nd person in NC to buy one in the early 80's. Saved me a lot of money. Then go by Sears and buy a HD 42" flat screen TV with all the bells and whistles. That is what Pam and I are giving each other for Christmas.
Old man aches from using leaf blower and working. Goooood night all.

RIP - God bless his family and friends. I remember him from CTT a while back, but he stopped posting. I am very sad to hear about this. :(

Yes, I just posted a thread on CTT about it. John, gave you credit for letting us know. Would not have know it. Thanks.

Brutus: Jon Engelhardt is a retired band teacher. He know his music. Thought you might want to know since you just got back from your Son's band concert.
