If your space is limited and you can fasten your track to the table permanently, use flex track. One of my future projects is to build a Christmas layout featuring my Rivarossi 4-4-0 American with a set of the Roundhouse Overton shorty car decorated for the V&T. I think that equipment is small enough to run on a 15 inch or even a 12 inch radius.

What is the radius on Bachmann's EZ track?
That's what we use for my daughter's HO set but a full turn is too wide for my table.

The only sizes I've seen for EZ track are 18 & 22 inch radius. If I remember correctly, Atlas also makes 15 inch radius in Snap Track. I don't think they make it in EZ track, but you could put the Snap Track on Cork road bed and glue on ballast if you are willing to make the layout on a permanent board.
