My dear lady noticed that you have opened one of your boxes upside down "typical man! I bet he has yet to find the instructions? And if he does ? Will he read them before he screws up?!!".wall1
A cold damp morning in Stockport, had some overnight sleet/snow here but several roads are closed across the Pennines with GRITTERS out in force.

Sorry to hear of sicknesss and injury among our merry band. My best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Nick has updated me on the electrics for Lionel and I have began placing orders.
Taking Honda for a pre-winter fertle, reckon it'll need a couple of tyres at least.

Morning all. Frank, you've been busy. Good job. Dennis, prayers for your Mom. Keep us posted. Tom P, good job looking after your FIL. Bet that Grandson does help keep him busy. Cloudy but no rain. Warmer today. Off to Dr. later and then County Commissioners Meeting. Day is shot. Wife home as she always takes off Thanksgiving week [has Thursday and Friday anyway]. Time for redhots and grits. Later

Good morning folks

It is a raw morning here in the Delaware Valley. The temperature as I stepped out was 35 F with rain and wind. High today is supposed to be 46 F with the rain lasting all day into tomorrow.

I have been feeling under the weather the last few days. I think I have come down with the first cold of the season. I have been coughing off and on and generally feel lousy. I am surprised I made it work today. I am not sure how long I will last, however.

On the workbench and layout I got nothing done. Fighting off this cold had a lot to do with why. I did, however, run some trains for a while last night.

Here is a shot from that session:

I hope everybody has a good day.

I never thought being a Grandpa would be this much fun, it's the best. I've always enjoyed being a Dad (well there have been some times it pushed my patience) but this Grandparent thing is the best:thumb:

Frank53--
Keep the pics coming, I REALLY enjoy your construction photo's. As I've said many times before, building is my favorite part of the hobby.

The weather is going into the 60's today but the hammer will fall on Wednesday with the "s" word. I think I hear my motorcycle calling my nameannounce1

G'morning from a misty and cold Chicago where I am going to try to check in here as well as CTT on mornings. Here's a few random notes...

Jim F, that ketchup sandwich brings back memories.

Tom, how are you going to cover the new foam mountain at the museum. I love those 'butter dish' milk cars - are they Lionel?

Roy, you can set local time on the User CP. Are you coming back to Chicago anytime soon?

Dennis, prayers for your mom.

John F, is it really snowing in Maryland?

Frank53, nice overall shots of the layout. Can you reach in to the track by the Lionel plant - or do you need a step-stool? I've always worried about that with my 'far away' track. Is it as deep as it looks?

Doug, I have been posting both places for some time. I plan on continuing to do that. For those uncomfortable with posting on CTT, this is an option. The problem may have correected its self. Lets hope so. Hard to argue with someone if you don't reply and argue back. That is why I posted IGNORE. Now I hope that never gets mentioned again.

Good Morning All from NE Ohio
where the temp is 37 deg and headed into the 50's today.

Doug - The mountian will be foam base. The cracks will be filled in with foam. We may cover part of it with plaster cloth, not sure yet.

The milk cars are Lionel.
