Yes indeed! Another fine WPF thread! Thanks everyone for your terrific contributions! CNWman, I enjoyed the tour of that layout. Very nice! Gary, I keep looking at the street and sidewalk in your picture and am in awe of how real it looks!

Deano & Steve - I love the pueblo in the rock. That is just great work. And all the extras on the engines is really nice too. You two guys, and a lot of others here on the forum, are setting the bar I hope to one day achieve.

Great work all around! :inw:

ON MY SIDE OF THE TRACKS...
A very good friend of mine, Kurt(CNW1961), UNEXPECTEDLY sent me a house he SCRATCH BUILT for my up coming layout I'll be doing when i move in June:mrgreen: . he modeled it after many of the houses that are found here in Southern WI, and did a SLAP AWESOME JOB!:thumb::thumb:
CRIPES, you can take the roof off and it has rooms in it:eeki: , TRULY FANTASTIC:thumb: . anyways, he wrote that the house was for "Big Ed" , but since i wont be moving from my apartment till June, i couldn't see it wasting away in a box till then:cry: , so i decided to put it on dads layout at his house till i move:winki: . (i dont have room for it on my current layout:frowns: )
AS IT IS NOW...
I AM NOT FINISHED with this area yet, but i have Kurt's STUPENDOUS HOUSE set up as "Big Ed's" house in the 50's(he was "little Eddie then:winki: ). here you see "little Eddie", and his sister "Gwyneth" having fun with a goose, one of the family pets:mrgreen: , as their Mom "Mabel" sweeps off the porch:winki: . THANK YOU KURT!!!, for your GRACIOUS GIFT!:thumb::thumb:

O-Scale O-K?

The Lionel Helicopter car got loose and the camera crew caught some aerials around the Lionel Lines:

or I was changing a light bulb and noticed the views are pretty good from up there, but definately one of the two:

That's just something I've always wanted to do with an F7. To me it looks good. I don't know if there's a prototype for it or not, if there isn't, who cares. I also have a GP38-2 with Alco trucks and a SD40-2 with a GE cab. I like odd-balls.

I dont know if these should be posted here as they don't contain locos or rolling stock, but they do contain stuff for my layout.

I followed Gary's tutorial and came up with these:

tree2.jpg

Here is a hint: Do NOT use your wife's green floral arrangement doo mah hickeys as a base for holding your trees while working on them. She can get quite testy. Especially if it just so happens to be the last one and she was holding it back to make a center piece for Thanksgiving.

George

** I posted this earlier this morning, but it didnt show. If it does pop up and looks like I double posted, I am sorry.
