Yes, that was a MiG-31, and its a great model too, one of the best fliers of the bunch. Unfortunately, Ojimak thought it was too similar to his F-15, and doesn't want me to share it. Sorry guys. I'll try to come up with another sometime. Here are a few more images for you all to take a look at, they can all be found in that album I linked to, but I wanted to show a few in particular here:

Some times I think he is a little selfish, I mean he gives free models but we can't make anything without his permission. wall1 :curse::curse::curse:wall1
I believe his blackmailing us. In the end the Mig-31 was Paragon creation not Ojimak's.:cry::cry:

You can petition him if you really want to...because I doubt I'll get around to changing that model any time soon. Even if I did, there's no garuanteeing that Ojimak would find the changes (the ones I have planned) enough, so you could all try e-mailing him.

Meanwhile, I'm seriously considering making the other MiG-31. I know there is already one free version around, I started to build it but got a little bored, I prefer models that only take an hour or two, like mine do. Anyway, Developing a MiG-31 Firefox in my own style is really interesting me...

Update: Finally started the MiG-23. The Prototype is ready to print, then I'll build it, and if it works out, color it. Anyone interested in building the prototype can PM me for the sheets...I figure I might start letting people beta test them now (though I know the wait between starting and finishing design of one of my models is not very long at all).

Lightning

Hi @all
the moment I`ve finished the Lightning; all fits well, no problem...
When I was a soldier, I had to do some teaching near the British at Munster training area, and so I heard often the roll of thunder, most it were some Lightnings
Great job you did, I like it, keep on :thumb:
Have a great day

After all my apprehension about doing another swing-wing, and strange dislike for the MiG-23, I really am actually glad I made this one. The swing wings work very well, almost as well as the F-25's, which makes sense considering I used the same gears for this one instead of designing new ones. The model is relatively simple, as always, but I had significantly higher resolution images to work from, which included every angle I needed. The result is what I believe is a very good looking MiG. Anyway, I know words aren't as interesting on these forums as pictures, so have a look:

I forgot, I also have pictures of the new version of the L-39. It is much more accurate now.

You wish they would! How about the designer? :p

I agree though, posting finished images would be very helpful indeed. The lack of images, and lack of build feedback as well, makes me wonder how many people have put them together. Oh well, I certainly build them all at least as prototypes, and have built almost all of the finals. The ones I haven't are printed out and waiting to be built eventually.

Anyway, the MiG-23 is completely colored now, and ready for upload. I had to leave for work, so I didn't get to print the PDFs, or compress them and send them to CGutzmer, but the colors are in, as well as Russian markings. I'll probably whip together another version with slightly different colors and Romanian markings for Dragos.

One final thing: two more planes have made it onto my list, the MiG-31 Firefox, and the MiG-37 Ferret. Neither are actually real (though I think the Ferret was at least a prototype), but both are very cool looking.

I'm also ready to take votes for the next lineup of models. I'm personally leaning toward the SR-71, Firefox, and perhaps the V-22 Osprey.
