Here is a new GP20 that I got at the Wasatch Rail Train show this past weekend.

There was a fairly large display of Union Pacific engines at the show. I will post some pics of it in a little while.

Here are the pictures from the show. Why do I have the feeling that UPSD40-2 has more than this?

I have two,an BLI AC6000 with sound and an Kato SD90/43 Mac.I am actually considering selling the AC6000 to concentrate more on the DM&IR/CN,but I'm not sure because it's a great engine.

Hey Josh,my SD90/43Mac needs some work done on it.Mostly small repairs such as a new horn and a couple safety railings. There is also a very small crack in the rear back plate near the hoses that need to be repaired,it's superficial and should be easy for you to make not show up.Think you could do that for me?Maybe weather it a bit?

I didn't count 'em Scott, but if i don't have more, i would come ridiculously close:winki::mrgreen: . its NOT the quantity that counts though, its the Quality, and the guy that owns those beats me out hands down:eeki: . there's some brass engines in there I'd love to have:winki: , turbine #50, and the big blow are the very first ones i would like to have:thumb: . THANK YOU so much for posting those pics:mrgreen: .

Scott, i like your GP20:thumb: , I have one, and quite frankly, its one of my favorites!:winki:
EDIT: (....oh who am i kidding, they are ALL my favorites:toug::119: )

Jeez, sounds like Deano almost has a model of every UP loco- I think Deano beats all us UP fans hands down! I'm begining to wonder if Deano owns the REAL UP and is just playing tricks on us.

Well, I don't have any UP in actual fact (nervous laugh).

Hmmmmmm.... I don't think Big Ed has been able to get a turbine yet, probably due to noise complants.

Then why would he need model trains? If he did, he'd probably restore a Big Boy by now, considering he's an 'engine nut'.

"Big Ed" gives out a big New Jersey cheer(place tongue between lips and blow:119: )to those that complain about engine noise:eeki::toug: . "Big Ed" and I are looking for a Lionel HO scale Veranda turbine, VERY RARE and hard to come by, but we are looking for one:winki: .

even if i did own UP:twisted: , i would still model it:winki: ....only i would be MUCH RICHER, and would have TONS of rare brass UP engines:mrgreen: . you bet i would restore a Big Boy, AND a gas Turbine:winki::mrgreen: .

mooreway:wav: , GLAD to have you join in on this thread:thumb: , there's ALWAYS room for MORE UP fans!:winki::mrgreen: . NICE GP38-2!!!:thumb::thumb::thumb:

It's wired for DCC AND no one's bid on it yet!

Great job sarge!Like CNWman said,it looks like factory paint to me also.

I'm actually going to be down to one UP engine,my Kato SD90/43,if my BLI AC6000 sells. It's going to be replaced by something that should fit in here though so I'll post pics when I get that.
