Good to see you back on your feet... so to speak...

Take it easy and listen to them. They've been there before, so they know what they're talking about. Just remember, you will get better, it just takes time..:thumb::thumb:

What Don said.

May your courage, and determination, hold til you have completed your journey back to full recovery. It is will, not wishes, that sees you through to the best ending.

No matter what, you always feel better in your own home.
Dorothy was right, "There's No Place Like Home."
Enjoy the comfort and let your body and spirit get on with it's task of healing itself.

Have you got some sort of "lap desk" for modeling that you can use while in the wheel chair? No sense wasting valuable modeling time, especially when you are in a wheel chair and can't do "honey do's".

That happened to my friend too - took about a month or 2 of rehab for it to come back... he still walks with a cane, but he gets around well... :) keep walking as much as you can and keep doing the rehab - it'll help!!!! Use the train shed for a focus!! The better you get - the more of a chance you'll be running trains soon!!!!

Let us know how you're doing!!! Best of Luck!!

A late welcome back Les, I was also in the hospital and I feel for you. I came home on friday. You will make it just as I will, it'll take a day at a time. My thoughts go out to you and again welcome home here and in real life.

ok it has been a while since i have been on computer.this is a real emotional battle. But I am hanging in there. I walked 5 steps unassisted friday at P.T. that was a great uplift to me. Iwent out to train building couple days ago with my wife. nothing worked no power to rails. A friend is supposed to be comming tomorrow afterrnoon to help me figure out the problem.this will be interesting. I have an apparet wiring problem yhis friend is going t try to help me find it, I have no wireing diagrams. I would imagine most of us are that way. Most of you have seen pics of my layout here on the guage.can you see the problems. another thing to throw into mix I am having open house november 7
