Chessie, what kind of car is that waiting at the crossing? Fastback Mustang?

Let me take the time to give a BIG thank you to all those that take the time to leave comments.:thumb: When I take pictures of my layout, usually it goes way beyond wandering in there and just snapping a picture and posting it. For these last couple, I got out the tripod, set up a flourescent lamp and took 10-15 pictures. From there, I toss all those that are not worthy, leaving just a couple. I then take those few that are left, into photoshop and enhance, crop, and touch up where needed. The few before that, I actually moved my layout away from the wall and removed the backdrop so I could capture the scene from a more gratifying angle. I put a lot of work into my pictures for our enjoyment. To me, a comment from you is your way of telling me thank you for taking the time to post that picture. :thumb: I usually have a lot to elaborate on each picture (ask Jesso) if the opportunity arises. More often than not, it does not.
Again, a BIG thank you to all those that take the time to leave further questions or comments.

That's cool TrainNut. It is really neat when people take a lot of time to prepare something to share. It can be kind of frustrating to spend 30min preparing a post to show your current post only to have no replies. I do love the view counts though...because it lets me know that people are interested even if they aren't saying anything. I try to leave comments on most threads I visit...unless it is all diesels and modern stuff...then I'll comment on the scenery, techniques, or other things.

Trainnut: Yes it's a 1970 Mustang fastack from Fresh Cherries, I had to order this one from walthers because our local WalMart didn't have them in yet. I used to have a 1973 Mach l in that color so I had to have it ..lol

My uncle used to have a fastback in that bronze mustard yellow color. One day, while it was sitting at the top of their driveway, my nephew climbed inside to get something out. On his way out of the car, he released the parking break. The car then rolled backwards, down the driveway, across the road below, over several large (house sized) boulders and into the creek beyond. The car became a yard decoration after that.

Ok, I managed to get this shot in B/W by hanging off a tree near the switch, and let me tell you, NEVER hang off a tree when a train is comming, or else! Anyways, here's my pic:

Plus, here's my reason for not posting pics latley:

My new worktable florecent light. This is it on.

Worktable w/ light. The light is off here. BTW the basement isn't as packed in as the picture shows!

Keep the pics comming (or not, I don't know how well TrainNut's repair jobs are...)

If a cluttered desk is the sign of a cluttered mind...then what does an empty desk signify? ;-)

Trainnut: WOW:eek:, Thats terrible...I bet it took some work to get it out of the creek..

NKP174: Thanks but I cannot take credit for them, they were given to me and came that way.

CNWman: Your first pic is a little dark, can't make out the lead unit. What road is that F unit? looks like a BL2 trailing

chessie4155, nice Niagara! Jeffrey, what happened to your Athearn Pacific?
It's in the display rack right now. It will eventually be in a static display on the layout. As to what's wrong with it, the bearing seat for the left rear driver is cracked. The only way to repair that is to replace the entire lower frame, and that ain't happening on my income.
