for my room lol

Hi guys, im sure most of you member my previous threads with me making up some trackplans for a full room layout and your prolly thinking ohh great heres another one

Well, the with the new house were moving to (my dad and I) I wont be getting my own train room after all, so I had to make yet another one up for me to live in and have a layout at the same time

Ive decided that the layout will dominate my room, Im only going to have my bed and a dresser with a TV on it in my room. No computer table or anything else cause I'll have my laptop so there is no more need for a computer desk anymore.

Spent a few days working on this and I have just a few HUGE industries instead of many smaller industries. The main ones are a Cement Plant, Grain Complex, A Mill, and a Refinery with smaller industries being a Custom warehouse, Heritage Furniture, and Armstrong Electric Motors buildings.

Josh (jbaakko) had said his layout was going to only have a few major industries on it and he started describing it and it made me want to do the same, I like HUGE buildings and complexes

Well here is the treackplan, ill post a new post everytime I added in somthing new

Flex-Track Re-done

Flex-TrackRe-Done.jpg

I went and re-did all the flex-track in the plan and used the "optomize" button that Atlas has so it automadiclly does the flex-track to the best possible way.

great plan josh :thumb:.it will definitely not be boring! but if your carpentry skills are up to the challenge, could you make the layout high enough to clear the TV and add a shelf over it to widen the area over the dresser?--josh

The only run-around I see is a small one near Shop Bldg. #1. You may think about another one somewhere so as to be able to get the locomotives around and in front of or behind desired cars. It would be nice if you could fit a double mainline up through there but it seems like things are kind of tight the way they are.
This may be the first thread in Zealot history where every post on the first page was made by the author of the thread!:thumb:

TrainNut beat me to it while I was double checking the track plan. Another run-around (and a longer one, if possible) would probably make your life a lot easier when it comes time to operate this layout.

Also, I applaud your sense of minimalism (in terms of furniture) but I don't think you went far enough. Get rid of the bed too. A sleeping bag should fit in the closet when you're not using it, thereby freeing up more space for another industry or two. And that dresser, throw that in the closet too. Furniture is *so* over-rated.
