Hey all am building Jays Galactica, and thought she needed a fleet. Found some bridge comander files and I degreeble them a tad. Have some PDO's of alot of the ships but I am horible at unfolding. Heres the links to the PDO's and some screenshots.

Way cool. If I get the chance I can try to fiddle with them (although I'm still learning Pepakura). I've always wanted to see the prison barge and the Agro ship from the original series.

Excuse me guys. I have those meshes also, they're created by a guy I only know as "Coxxon".

They'd make great papermodels as the textures are very nice. However, if the meshes displayed are the same as the ones I have they have intersecting parts so would need work doing to them before unfolding straight away in Pepakura.

On the Olympic Carrier and Gemenon Liner models for example, the fins on the tail go right through the body of the ship.

They can still be done as papermodels I'm sure but just thought I'd try to help before spending alot of time in Pepakura only to find that the model won't assemble correctly.

Sorry if I've stepped on any toes.

thats what I meant when I said I earlier when I degreebled them, I exported them with milkshap after deleting alot of small parts and intersecting ones. I still have more of the ships to export after I get the file size down so it doesn't crash pepakura and that I have removed alot of the intersecting parts. I just suck at unfolding

Heres the Heavy raider not many intersecting parts I can see on the mesh, final fit of the parts might be sloppy and require trimming. Heres a screen shot and the PDO file note: because of the complex curves this will take a skilled unfolder to tackle.

With the intersection sorted then they shouldn't be too hard to unfold. They're low poly meshes but good ones so there may be some tricky spots, I'll take a look at one.

Hi guys, I love the Heavy Raider. She would be a good addition to Jay's fab models.

Gemini almost done

Here's a teaser for you. The Gemini is almost done.
Give me another day or two for the model, eight to ten weeks for the instructions sign1.
I still need to adjust a bunch of the parts so they'll assemble nicely, and clean up the fold lines, but it shouldn't take too long. Well, okay, maybe you better give me three or four days - I only get a couple hours each evening.

Anyway, I think this one will look great when it's put together.

By the way, does anyone know what size this ship is or care about scale?
As it is now the finished ship will be 6-7 inches long, and maybe 2-3 inches tall. I can resize it easily so let me know what you want.

right now i look like homer drooling over a donut!! i dont think scale is too much of an issue. none of the models out are to scale with eachother. I think what u have ( 6-7 in long) would be good. not too big and not too small.balloon6
