Well.......... thanks again. But I am toying with the idea of this one in 1/35 also. SO maybe you won't have to up-scale after all.

I'm going to keep the series in 1/48, because some of these guys are pretty big and will make large models at 1/48. Can you say "POINT" or "NASTY".........sure........ I knew ya could!

But this one begs to be bigger and to have much, much more detail.

The really lucky think is there is a real one (PBR MKII)in Mobile, AL. Yeah, I'm going and carrying two cameras..............one for me, one for the wife, she takes better pictures.:thumb:

Gotta finish the RPC, and wait for all the references I've got ordered and coming in.................also IF anyone has any close ups they would be much appreciated. I've found alot of pics on-line both real, and models, but there are still some areas of the boat that are not shown.

Oh......... and as already mentioned this will be the 105 boat named Elaine.

Hey John,

When do you plan to go to Mobile? My wife and I live just north of there. We'd love to meet y'all, have lunch or something. PM me if you would.

Your boat is great; I built small (model) sailboat when I worked at Sikorsky and waterproofed it by pouring liquid crazy glue on the hull and letting it dry. Not something that would be considered very green today but it sailed in a water based coolant (Lusol) and never came apart. I still have it, it is 20 years old. One of the balsa wood seats fell out but it would probably still float, I guess I'm rambling now.

wall1 OK.......... got in a new reference with a picture of the RPC. Believe it or not this makes 3 that I know of. Well anyway........... I will have to change some of the parts on my model because.......... ummmmmmmmm..... well.......... THEY'RE WRONG wall1.

SO......... this will slow down the release just a little bit...................

Hey who's got that lemon squeezer?

Sorry Roger & Russell................ been put to the back burner for know.

Got very discouraged at how much I had wrong, that I have to re-design the whole thing:curse:

Maybe when it cools down some around here I can get re-motivated.
