Thanks Drew.
I have to give Don (ezdays) credit for preserving this layout also.
If not for his generosity it may have been stripped and in the dumpster as is the fate of most layouts when the modeler passes on.

Here's a link to Don's thread explaining it's origin.
The plan is still to get this layout set up and use it to get youth involved in the hobby.
One of my friends in the club is into setting up operation schedules and way-bills. I am going to have him evaluate the operation possibilities when the layout is operational to set up a system so we can have the local youth groups come in and let them to operate it like a real railroad.
We're hoping that this will give some kids the opportunity to try the hobby out.

I started on the next section.
It is rewired, most of the turnout machines are fixed ( I have 3 turnout machines to repair and I have to install one of the turnout control panels) and I started repairing the damaged scenery.
