Holiday Progress on the ACT RR

Here is what I have continued with yesterday. We had to work for the last 4 days as our second grandson Ryan Mattingly Faivre was born Wednsday evening so we were babysitters for Gavin until today.

Thanks Guys , now that you mention it , I too yawn when I look at that picture!! I am working on the roads mor today and will post some more pics later.

Here are updated pictures of road construction in Valle Rojo since yesterday. I am happy with them (I hate making roads). This has been a layout hold up for some time and glad it is done. I need to remove all the buildings and start on the Unobtainium Mine at the left rear of these pictures. Once done I can start working out to the edge with scenery.

Looks good! Your roads and parking lots look great! I like your movie theater. Do you have any close ups of your drive-up restaurant and sign? Are they a kit or did you scratch build them?

The theater is a bashed Lark Models kit and graphics downloaded and printed on the computer. The Taco stand is an Arrowhead Models kit that I believe is no longer made by anyone. I have no closeup of the sign and it is not very detailed close up.

Lynn , the castings are from various home made and Woodland Scenics molds. The plaster I use is a product called Model Mount and is made by a shop in Albuquerque and not sold outside the area.
