Charging at full tilt.
Although I don't model U.S. Trains, I am planning to buy a Challenger,
Big Boy, DD35 and DDA40X for display (Yes, I know, I should be shot! )- maybe even a Gas Turbine.

U.P. and BNSF are my favourite U.S. roads Amtrak third.:thumb:

If I was doing American though, I would definately do U.P.- always loved the colour scheme and the idea that they have so many locos they ran out of numbers!

So any post about the above three I'm interested in.

Hi Deano, I am also a big UP fan. A lot of my family has worked for UP. If it wasn't for them transferring the St. Louis operations to Omaha, I would be working for UP also.

I'm just getting my layout and collection started. I recently picked up one of the Broadway Limited AC6000 locomotives. The owner of the hobby shop let me run it on their test track to make sure everything worked since I wouldn't have a layout of my own to run it on for a while.

Tim H,
Those are nice looking engines! Love the details of the AC6000. I love how the radiator hangs over the end of the engine, they look really cool when you put two back to back.

I was going to buy the low ditch light version. But there was some binding in the gears when we tested the loco. That was the last one they had of that version and so I went with the one in the pictures.

we all have to create a good name for UP Ex. opposite of Ugly People RR
Ultra Pleasent,
More please i cant think right now
No need for that my friend:) , UP already has a GOOD NAME: Union Pacific:up: , That says it all, theres really no more to say:up: ...feel free to write that down;) -Deano

Man, UP needs an engine wash here in south Texas. These two engines look like they got rained on by acid rain. It shows just how much these EMD engines can take. Sorry for the crappy pictures, im using my cell phone hehe. Maybe someday i'll add scenery when I get around to building a layout.
