Canada, eh?
Almost all of the photos from my older threads didn't make the journey to this new Forum, so I've been busy restoring them, and in some cases, adding a few new ones. I'll be updating this list periodically, as I rebuild more of these old threads, and bumping up this notice accordingly.
Some of these have only a few photos, while others are quite long, so, if you're on dial-up, you've been warned.  However, if you need a picture "fix", just click on a link to go directly to the thread:
Edit: I've added links to the pertinent pictures in the Gallery, for those of you on dial-up who would prefer to view the photos as thumbnails. Simply click on the appropriate "Tom Thumb" guy :thumb: to view. (You can still click on the individual images for an enlargement, if you find something particularly appealing.)

Thanks, folks. While I haven't had the opportunity to add more threads to the list, I have added links to each of the appropriate Albums in the Gallery, for those of you on dial-up who would prefer to view the photos as thumbnails. Go to the first post in this thread to view them.
Also, while I do have a list of my threads that I intend to re-populate with photos, if you see one of them where the pictures are missing and you would like to see the pictures restored, pleased send me a pm, so that I can add it to the list.

doctorwayne,

i am very glad you took the time to repost these photo's. I was starting to miss all your work after the change from the Gauge.

Your all around work is just so inspiring to me. I have copied and saved some of, or most of your photo's of scenery  . I hope you don't mind.
I know mine will never be as close as yours, but i will get as close as i can.

Thanks for the kind words folks. As long as people are interested in viewing these threads, I'll be happy to restore them. Matching up photos to the dreaded red Xs does take some hunting, so please be patient. I'm working my way from oldest to newest, generally, and of course, all the photos have to go in the Gallery before I can post them in the various threads. Thanks to all who take the time to view.

What about other peoples threads?
I don't have the option to edit my older posts.
Is someone going to fix them or are they going to be left that way?
Not complaining, Just asking.

Ray, are you one of the Members who, for some reason, don't have an "Edit" button appearing in the threads? I'll bring this up with Peter, as there are other Members who have the same problem. If the problem can't be corrected, I'll work with you to restore the threads as necessary, although it may take some time. (And not because I'm working on mine!!)

Hi Wayne,
I noticed there wasn't an edit button when I posted the photos of my HOn30 loco. I was going to try to re install the rest of the photos in the thread but realized I couldn't.
Thanks.

Ray, I just went to that thread: for me, an "Edit" button appears in all of the posts in that thread. In the earlier posts, the picture does not show, but will appear if I click on the "JPG" number. As a test, I opened this thread in two different windows, then, in the first post, clicked on the JPG to get the image. I then "copied" the image, and, in the other window, using the "Edit" function, "pasted" the picture back into the first post. On my screen, it shows up as a picture. Please go to that thread and tell me what you see in the first post.

Wayne,
The photo is there in the post as you said.
There isn't an edit button though.
It may be that since you are a moderator that you have the ability to edit and I don't being only a vice peon.
I can edit posts that I posted after the upgrade but not the ones that were posted before. not sure if anyone else noticed or not , but if you are not logged in you can't view photos. so viewing photos on the forum is a members only thing.
Thanks again.:thumb: Didn't mean to hijack your thread.
