I know what you mean. Even the clouds up there had red dust in them! 4 thousand feet above sea level. Sucked all the moisture out of me, thin air, red clay hocking up out of my nose, mouth sinuses and throat, lungs. But, all in all, its a beautiful place up there, and it feels good to be there. Just gonna pound out a few more one pagers, and then more big Star Treks.

The cactus out here are blooming like Triffids! Huge flowers. Might be the cause of desert fever, but i think its really the dust and an allergic reaction to expel it is the fever symptoms? I went to get a treadmill test for my heart about a week ago, and the gave me a shot plus the treadmill, to give more oxygen to my system so they can chart it. The over -oxygenated symptoms were the same as the allergies symptoms.

Here is a new project that I am modifying one of my hand draw models into. IF anyone wants to jump on this please go ahead, just let me download a copy! On mine, I will have to change the nose and coloring, etc...



This is my model that had rescaling issues, its about 11 inches long, so I have to redo the model anyway, I think I will do it as the game ship.

the antenna/scanner parts are really small on the traveling man so I just cut out a side view of them and put them on. next is the rocket flues. Then its done.

Finished! I should probably make the landing fins with a bottom and backside, later...

You are doing some phenomenal things here!

The Romulan shuttle looks awesome. It really looks like a sister to the shuttle as seen in DS9.

That white concept ship reminds me of the Lotus from James Bond.

Yep! I have it, too... mainly because it looks like a Cylon! (No wonder, it was a Doug Drexler construction.)

Years ago someone wanted me to make a tom cruise War of the Worlds paper model. there just wasn't enough information on what they looked like that I could dig up. So here is a video of the model, maybe it will give someone ideas for a paper model.

Yesterday morning I was going to the doctor for a bloodtest and check up and a young girl texting rammed into us at a stop light, so yeah, back in the saddle again, just when I was starting to get better. All over pain already. so I guess I will be binging making paper models again for the summer. Here is some eye candy until I get some more build pics up. By the way, I have decided to use very stiff carboard or foamboard, and Styrofoam for Ron's TOS 1701 inner support 3 footer. I think its better than staying paper pure in this case.
