Good Evening Ladies and Gentlemen.

Some of you welcomed me here very cordially when I introduced myself to this forum. During my introduction I told you that I'm building Paper-Replica Julius Perdana's Iron Man Mark VII 1:6. I enlarged it to A3 format by 137% making the ratio approximately 1:4,4. The building was a joy. Everything is very precisely done. I found only two errors: The "calf bones" are longer by 30% and the "hip axis" is twice longer than it should be... But nothing what can't be corrected easily.

So my Christmas leave is at the end and this beautiful (I mean the model itself not my construction ;) ) model is finished.

Here are some pictures:

I wish everybody all the best in the year 2019 and many finished models thumbsup

Great work, mate! This model taught me A LOT about making movable joints and how to hide and incorporate them in a model. It is highly recommended. :)

Hi Revell-Fan, thank you for your kind words. Yes I do like especially the fact that this model can be positioned how I like. Also the two possible modifications of the hands (open palm and fist like) are awesome thumbsup

When I began work on Crichton I knew I had to make him posable but at that time I did not know exactly how to do it. Julius' model gave me important and most useful hints on what to do. I don't claim that his ways are the only ways but he chose some simple but effective solutions which in some cases are mind-blowing, like connecting a tube to the backside of a cuboid. I copied and adapted them and use them ever since when needed:

Don't be shy!! Excellent build on an excellent model. Julius is a member of this forum, if you gave him the corrected files, I am sure he would be grateful. He is an extraordinarily nice person. ;)

Hi Zathros, thank you for your kind words. I do not think there is a need for corrected files, it just a question of shortening two calfs bones and one hip hexagonal axis. Other than that the model is simply superb and I'd like to thank Mr. Perdana for sharing this with us thumbsup
