well, i got one of the four that i've been building done.
here is my build of the Rocinante by Michel Grosberg. and of course i have to make it bigger.i did not take enough pic's of the whole build ( i forget things.. i know , shame on me..) but i got enough to share for all to know the fun of this build. his directions are really easy to follow and i like how you build it in small sections. the interior frame work help keep it strong and straight . first off it the engine section. had a small problem withe the inner wall of the engine. was about 1/2 inch short. problem fixed by printing another part and adding the missing section then everything lined up.20180526_111115.JPG 20180526_111220.JPG 20180602_164552.JPGall better

I have had a few moments like that. :Computer::headbange: There were a few times where I had to just walk away from the project and take a break for awhile, then approach it with a fresh mind and eyes. :Coffee:

KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!!thumbsupthumbsupthumbsup

You did a GREAT JOB! It is bigger than I thought. For some reason, I thought that it was about a 10th that size.
If you have "Q-Tip" with paper shafts (which are thicker than most toothpick), you can use them for "gun barrels" or tubes as needed. I use them anywhere I can.

You are more than welcome! Printing it on 11 x 17 makes sense.

What an excellent build. The inside framing was a great idea. When you can post a picture that big, and the model looks that good, you know you have really done an excellent job! Superb build! Thanks for posting your work, a pleasure to see. :)

The framing is part of the model sheets. With out it, it wouldn't stand up, even in a smaller size. I would love to see plans for other ships from " The Expanse " . this was a real fun build.
Thanks all for looking and the comments. . Now on to "try" to finish the others sitting on the workbench:hammerhead::rolllaughing:

I just printed it out on 1117 paper and hit fit to page. I never realy check to see on how much it's scaled up. I'll have to check it out..
