I agree that the latest Astro Racer styling is very attractive. Dare i describe it as more "sci fi traditional".

Are the instructions for the builds provided in English? I've built 2 ships so far and although they came out good they could have come out better ( and been assembled faster) if i knew what i was doing in advance :)

Customizer,

Hey that's part of the challenge! Although you can run some of the directions for kicks through the google translator. Always a good laugh.

Ha! Tell me about it . I gave up on translating after about 10 minutes. Of course considering that I am making modifications to the builds to suit my personal needs I suppose I shouldn't worry about the instructions being in English much anyway.

Pretty neat small collection. ...congratulations JAN. :)

SOME FUN FACTS: Astro Racers 80 and 58 was designed by kids. Terror Racers was idea of eleven years old boy and Blue Bubbles is project of 9 years old girl. ....I´ve redesigned both ships into useful papermodels.
I have lot´s of ideas for Astro Racers...like in the shape of Nintendo Gameboy console (4 years old ideea) or shape of star destroyer..or Orion 3 from space odysey.......or Impala car from Supernatural movie series :)

For more astro racers stay tuned for Xmas. :)

Jan,

Yes, I would definitely like to assemble the Impala! That would be too cool.. especially from you. I REALLY appreciate all the work that you do with these astro racers. Thanks for all of the hard work you do with these designs.

Very much looking forward to CHRISTmas!

Z - I'm a slow learner :Computer::headbange::headbange::headbange: :hammerhead::hammerhead:and finally did just that as well! I noticed also that if you delete a pic from the file hosting service you delete the pic on this site as well :robot3::frak::robot1:  so it is a continuous direct link.

Time to upload pictures directly. I would appreciate if people could update their posts, I know it's a lot of work, but the thread remains whole. An account gets closed, then there a huge gap in the thread.

This all looks so marketable to me. you might consider approaching board game or other game publishers. You really have something and a brilliant imagination. ;)

Very clean cuts!thumbsupthumbsup Inspirational!:Drinks::Drinks::Drinks: You're a credit to Jan Rukr (the designer of these models)!:King:

Looking forward to seeing more of your work. Additionally, your work on the Tie Racer is good as well.

If there is anything I would like to add - could you please show us the "warts and all method" of your building? Sometimes we all need a little "direction" from time even though some of us have done this a while, we always love to see new techniques - especially when the results are well done. The greater community grows from that as well. Just a thought.

I know I sound like a broken record, but the commercial potential of this in an Anime' series would be awesome, so many back stories, it could go on for years!! :)
