CrowdGather owns 1000's of forums, we do get special attention here, the damage was widespread though, I did not know till the CEO, Sanjay sent me an email explaining it. So we bide our time. It will all be back, and better than ever. ":)

That's good to hear. We have put so much into this forum, sometimes it can be easy to forget that hub of our connection is in reality quite fragile, though the connective threads we make are not. :)

Very well said, John! :)

Since I joined zealot I have got to know so many fantastic people here. The members care about each other, are extremely helpful and creative. It is like a virtual family. AWESOME! :)

Thank You Marcel, but damn, it is frustrating, and that I do know and sense from the membership. If I had the money, I'd start my own forum, I don't know if people realize how expensive it is to set up a forum like this, especially with the generous uploading of pictures, which is a hallmark of this forum. That being said, I just wish to express my frustration, that I share with you all. :Computer::Computer::Computer::frak::violin::nailbiting:

If you can, use a picture hosting service.

I have some of my original photos stored on Dropbox. Tried to paste a link to one of them using the "Image" icon (up in the edit message box) but all I obtained was a post with a link to my photo, not the image actually visualized in the post as I wanted. Is this due to a wrong procedure or rather is Dropbox not between the allowed hosting services?

@Tonino, Not sure ?? One reason I had stopped picture hosting was because of compatibility issues and pictures disappearing in posts. If the link appears, follow the link, then Right Click "Copy Image Location", and Paste that into the Picture Box and see if the Picture then shows in the thread. I just did that in Starbuck's Metal Models thread, and it worked.:)
