With the engines attached is the conclusion of the first stage of the rocket. I will post some final photos tomorrow. I look forward to any feedback or questions. Thank you guys for joining me on this I can't believe it is done. Legal01 thank you so much for your help and support. Everyone else, your support really kept me going on this and all of your input/feedback was tremendous. Thanks you all.

Okay, after a short break it's time to get back to work as I realized the interstage isn't going to build itself (no matter how much I will it to be so). I'll post some photos tonight.

Sorry to be so late. Please excuse me! I continue to rely on automatic notifying system instead of actively (and manually) monitoring my favourite threads... so I arrived when the party was over... :(

Well this is a real wonder!! I was afraid for you having that monster out of home. What if some wind strike or an escaping dog arrives suddendly?

:Bravo:Claphandsthumbsup
Wonderful work! I love the engines in their final arrangement! This is gonna be a real jaw-dropping museum-quality model. Keep on working! I cannot wait to see more. (I should remind to check from time to time!:shamefullyembarrased:)

Fortunately for outdoor photos I had the latest in weather surveillance technology (my eyes) and a very high tech system for keeping dogs away (loose persimmons). Assuring that everything went smoothly. Fortunately, it all worked out for the best. ;) Thank you for your comments and don't worry, there is still so much more party to go on this one. In another way, you are just in time to see the interstage.

"Like" truly is an understatement. You're knocking this out of the ball park the piece below defines perfection!

Thanks very much Zathros. Progress is slow going presently but I will have some things settling down and more free time in the very near future. Looking forward to finishing the interstage.

Fantastic job! Well done! That huge "Saturn V" will be my Retirement Project; nowadays I'm working on my "Apollo 11 CSM (1:48)". I'll post some pictures soon... Take care...

Having no experience with this model I still have a question: Have you, or any other builder, ever considered to superdetail the outside at the places where the real thing has those ribbed areas. such as on the lower stage, winged engine covers and interstage?
A hell-of-a-job but almost a must-go-there in this scale, I think.
