The 0-4-0c type . In locomotives of the Jersey Central 0n page 18 these two locomotives are listed. #14 is the locomotive Hornet. Built by the Grant locomotive works in Paterson, NJ. #15 is the locomotive Wasp Also Grant built. Both entered service in December of 1869 and weighted 49,950 lbs. #14 left service in Dec 1896. #15, Wasp ended service in Oct 1897. The letter c after the wheel type denotes a saddle tank. Photos of these locomotives show the tanks as side type, so a decrepancy exists here. Jersey Centrals letter for this type of tank loco should have been s.
