A stand up brush is mostly used in Modified motors and laydown is mostly used in Stock motors. Nowadays they use Laydown brushes all around.

Well actually most motors are now using the P-94 brush style since they give the most efficiency without a lot of arching like lay downs or loss of power like standard standing brushes.

Trinity, Epic, Phantom... Keep in mind I also said style not that exact brush set. Kyosho uses 5x5 brushes for some of their motors. But from what I've read and researched the P-94's are the best out there right now.

I can fit P-94 brushes in a P2K2 stock motor. They work very well after I cut my comm. They give my car more top end.
