So begins the long tedious process of the cooling fin fiasco. I left the edges uncolored to simulate the edge sanding on the real fins

I like that you left the cooling fins with "uncoloured" edges.
It does give it a much nicer look. You are doing a GREAT job on it. I am looking forward to seeing how this turns out.

When I used to use "Kal-Guard" to gun coated the engines I used to build, I would take a file to the edge of the fines to brighten them. It looks nice!
