Does anyone know if there is a current cardstock OR plastic kit still available of the TU-114 Russian airliner? I have already bought a TU-95 Bear kit to try to convert, but have not had much experience at converting kits!

E-Cardmodels sells a TU-95, which that airliner was based off of, and it seems like every 5 or 6 years, someone asks about a Tu-114, but I have not seen anything come of it.

In terms of plastic, Braz models offers resin conversion kits to adapt the Trumpeter TU-95 into different versions of the TU-114

My searching found 2 cardmodel TU-114's, one by Maly Modelarz, and the other by Kranich. I don't know if either is currently available for purchase anywhere.

The Kranich has been out of print for maybe almost 30 years or more. It's all over the place on the Internet. but I have never seen one for sale. These companies do not sell their wares in the U.S., so they are pirated. I think they shoot themselves in the foot.
This particular model is not to be found, legitimately, anyways. In Europe, a different story. Some guy in some shop or garage, probably has one sitting there. ![]() |
