Default Model Of The Week: Original Batmobile

Hi. Here's a W.I.P to my build of Claudio Diaz original Batmobile. This is a great model to build {i made this quite a while ago now} I wish i had built her using the high gloss card, but i had problems with the coating de-laminating when cutting and folding, so i gave up with that... i went with standard card stock for this. My only up-grade was to make the front wheels poseable {not steerable}. Anyhoo, hope you like her.

Final pictures - Edge clean ups and tweaks here and there. I was quite happy with the results, but just wish she was shiny... next time i will try the glossy card, but with some techniques i have found since i made this model. Hope you enjoyed the WIP.

Hey Peter. I don't think I have ever seen this one before. You've done a splendid job here. Love the wheels and the seats. Indeed this model has a lot of character.

Thanks for the pics mate. See you around.

Jim

And another great build from Peter.

I had a simular problem with glossy photo paper when doing the bumblebee build, plus it's a nightmare to glue.

Thank you kind sir. Yes the GETTING it to STAY glued on the glossy paper was another problem - but got round that, it was the de-lamination that put paid to it in the end.
